What to do with a free 3fe? (1 Viewer)

I don't need it. The engine came with a 91 fj80 carcass truck I picked up for body parts. The latest PO thought it had 214k and was supposed to run well.

Should it go to the scrapper or do I let it take up space for another mudder to come pick up while I try to work on my 40?

You can sell the efi components. Does it have the computer? If you were closer I’d come pick it up.

As a core it has value... and since parts are NLA for F blocks... more.

Does your 80 carcass have a wiring harness? To go with it?
Someone must want it?

No harness. No axles. Basically I got a full set of nice doors, a good hood and other stuff and have to get rid of an engine, A442 and various other stuff. It's not or sale, but free. It was given to me so I will also give away what I don't want.

Head is NLA and has value. Crank nut is NLA. Other good stuff - distributor, stater, alternator. With a little modification to the 2F intake manifold the 3FE exhaust manifolds will work on a 2F.

HA! He's in MI. I'm sure there's enough value in a free 3FE to make the drive worthwhile .

BTW I have a spare TPS but I need to check it to make sure it's good.
