I need to do some observing as well. I put off my body work until cooler temps are here.

A little bird (Hint: What are the 3rd and 4th letters in the alphabet?) told me there may be some single stage paint work coming up soon in the barn, is that correct?
So what list does one need to get on to see live paint work being done at the barn? Would love to check that out. I painted my little Bantam trailer, but never a car. I have never met most of you guys, but the little bird mentioned above helped me out with some wheel studs I needed pressed in for front rotor swap, among various other Cruiser related things. Showed me around a few of his rigs. Been and all around big help. Maybe he could vouch for me? Don't want to add more folks than are needed to the crowd but I would love to check out paint getting laid down if there is room.
Road Trip??
Price of entry is a high mediclurin count on cruisers.
All are welcome. Love having cruiser folks hangin at the barn. I’m having to google a word from CD’s post so I understand what the heck he saidNot sure I have either the clearance or Jedi skills required for entry to that barn, but sure would like to check it out sometime. How about this. I'll take the Hell Bitch down there and if she makes it without issue, that gets me a ticket to the show?![]()
Coordinating an actual paint day can be tough. Generally it can fluctuate by a few days/weeks depending on weather, prep work etc.
Well I appreciate the compliment. I can say there are quite a few imperfections and weak areas I can point out. Since it’s my primary truck and already taking some licks I’m not too concerned about it. However I did learn from the process and try to avoid certain mistakes learned from past projects. The flip side is I can’t lay paint all that great. The reason my truck looks good from a distance is due to hours and hours of wet sanding and buffing. That is something not requiring an expensive boothUnderstood here. If it happens, maybe keep me in mind for a spot and I will see where my schedule is then. After seeing how your 60's paint turned out, would just love to see how its done in person. That thing looks great. Funny enough I actually saw it on Imogene during SAS this past summer. Looks great up close. Was with some non-cruiser folks at the time riding in a Heep right behind you guys on the trail. They were not into the Cruiser thing at all and our schedule didn't really allow me to break away. I did finally get into Ouray at one point and to the KOA towards the end of the week but you guys were all out wheeling. Had to get back over the pass to Silverton where we were staying so missed all but a few folks. Planning on SAS next summer though.
Hey all. Is the cookout still happening this Saturday? @dogfishlake reminded me of it. Weather forecast is showing rain on my end.

Hey Derek and Matt, folks will be coming to my barn Saturday to hang out for a bit. No food or anything on the agenda. We can definitely drum up some dogs and sliders if it works out. Ya'll are welcome to swing by. will be great to see you.I was PMing with Jimmy earlier today and he indicated that folks would be at his place on Saturday, so I'm guessing that its still on?
This will be my first time out there, so I'm looking forward to meeting some folks and getting some ideas!
