What PS mount are you using?Replaced the power steering pump, last one had a small shaft seal leak that slung a nice black sludge as the oil burned on the belt inside the hood and fender. Also added tweeter speakers, snuck the wire under the knee pads and held in place with two sided tape. The most amazing part is both repairs came out well the first time, weird…

Transfer shifter looks like 60 and 70 series.
70 series top picture and 60 series second from the bottom in the next picture. Curious if you have considered making the one for the 40 series, third from the bottom? Those are still about an inch further back than four speed in the 40 seriies.

On this topic - where do you need room? Granted this is a 75 series lever for h55/split case but here it is compared to a 85-87 fj60 lever. I used it when I realized the 75 series tcase I bought has a longer 2-4 selector rod and I had already sealed up the transfer case. This did the trick in giving me the extra space to put the tcase back into place on a 60. In addition here’s a 75 series link, it also kicks forward more for extra clearance and could be used with a 40 lever.Transfer shifter looks like 60 and 70 series.

If I can get a donor.... I'll reproduce it. I usually give the donor a free part once finished.

Aloha Jen,Where did you source the canvas soft top from?
I am aware of that later lever. Have a number of them. Here are a few pictures comparing the correct one to the later one.

While it moves it forward is also moves away from the transmission and closer to the transmission tunnel. It also doesn't work with the shift of gate. I have a late shift gate that needs to be modified a little to fit the H55F.
