Perfect day for a drive
My AC parts came in. They'll have to go on the back burner until I finish a project to organize
some cordless tools.
Cap is back from the shop. Drip rail needed new sections fabricated. Finished off with aluminum rivets and Cygnus white.
Well guess what, The lovely Mrs. skidplate and i just got back from that very same place. Sorry I missed you. I even saw a tan '40 with no top while on our drive.

Everyday the body panels get newer. Still lots to be done. Picked up another 74’ as well.

I would love to go there as well! Not fond of the cold though living in GA all my life I like the heat better than the cold. To bad it’s going in that direction. However it was still a red state during the presidential elections.
The only big thing now is the runoff here in GA on Jan 8th. I’m going to make sure I’m there to vote. Wasn’t happy at all with outcome with the presidential election.

I had a sister that lives in San Diego and loves it there. She stated to me a few days ago that if your governor keeps running the state the way he is that her family is going to leave as well.
I also have a good friend of mine that has a couple of nephews and a niece that are acting and my friends brother said while they are shutting down California that movie stars are still allowed to film. What does that tell you?
Also @777Gage I still have those short jump seats with the fold down legs you sold me years ago for $300. Very good price and glad I bought them.

Put the hood on for the first time in... uh I don’t even remember.
Put the hard top back on after about 4years off and cleaned her up. Also, almost fixed the cruiser lean by taking off the spare tire and rack. Still leans about an 3/4" which I think is due to the manifolds and driver weight all being on one side.
