Put bags on mine few years ago and love them. Got them to level the sag but found out they are great for when I pull my tubby trailer.

Yep. Small investment. Big results

Installing AC in a 64 with the original engine.

Talk about fabricating. There are no mounting features on a early 1f. No lift hook holes, no alt bracket holes.
Had to heavily modify the provided bracket, and created (after 2 tries) an additional bracket that uses the thermostat mounting bolts to anchor it, then it wraps around the passenger side of the head and provides a face for two 10mm nuts that are welded on.

Hard to describe...

But the ac is so nice. Worth all the effort for sure.

can you post a few more shots like the front and passenger side angles ?

this is SOLID TECH !

Nice my fellow Greek friend 🙂

Got my mirrors so they sort of stay where I adjust them to, got several body gaskets replaced- Kick vents, hood hinge gaskets- and got a quote on a new exhaust system. Going to try to get the carb adjusted this weekend, if I can find enough information on the carb. (Warn carb with an electronic choke- haven't found a model number but I have found a serial number). Going to try contacting Warn tomorrow.

Weber carb? or Warn carb?

Back to driving it daily, stopped for some pizza and beer.

Efharisto!!! My friend!!

Here's a shot from above.
Forgive my booger tack welds... :)

This should give you an idea of how the bracket works. There's also support coming up from the bottom so there's no real weight pulling down on it.

Oh.. and you will really like my custom one of a kind knob set I'm putting together for this AC unit. All matching to the OEM style. Fan, Temp, Heat, and Defrost.

Here's a shot of the HEAT knob in the smaller "WIPER" style. Two are rotary, (Temp and Fan) the other two are pull.

using the same techniques , and moderns materials application approach as my Illuminated Pull switch , back lit polycarbonate

knobs faces , i was pleased to be able to transform the ravages of age and time dingy & yucky to simply Bliss once again ........
