It's hotter than two match sticks bumping uglies in a wool sock in San Diego lately and I got tired of sitting in a bucket of my own sweat because...vinyl seats. So I grabbed some eyelets, paracord and a coupla serapes and made some seat cover uppers. Now the sweat gets soaked up!

I wrenched, replaced a few things, wrenched a little more. Scratched my head and yelled obscenities in the garage. Still in the same spot i was last week.

What manner of demonry is that!

Finally got around to finishing up my trans hump shifter boots. Made a out of 16 ga stainless steel. Took a lot longer than it should have due to the complex 3 dimensional curves. The main plate covers the enlongated holes from the original shifter positions.
Still debating powdered coat, but I kinda like the stainless look too.

I hate to admit, the main trans boot came out of a GEO Tracker.:D

I vote for leaving it unfinished, as long as it is work you are proud of.

If you are still interested in a side panel, I found a nice one.

BTW, tell me about those temporary holddowns.

Those are called Cleco's fasteners. Used a lot in the aviation sheet metal world.
They come in different sizes and allow you to drill undersized holes while mocking up your design. I highly recommend them to anyone who's does fabrication work.

As far as the side panel: yes I still need a passenger side. I must have never saw your PM. I'll go back and have a look.
FYI, it's a 76.

I installed the wipe system and wiring into the windshield. Then I installed the windshield.
