Oh..you might should have waited on that detail..most of the pin strips you will get at superlift will buff out..some will leave scars. But fun. I plan to go for the southern cruiser crawl.
6112s from Brian Jowett?
Yes sir.
95% finished with the camera relocation deal. The camera has a shroud over the top to protect it from the spare tire (heavy) being removed or replaced and the wiring is almost all enclosed in the swing arm itself. Just need to finish my convoluted wire tubing. Camera view is as good if not better than stock IMHO.Watched the project 200 back up camera relocate video and drank a few beers to get my confidence up to par and then tackled the job. This next pic is the grommet under the rear sides of the bumper -both driver and passenger - and is your access point to start your cable run. View attachment 1121083
Next is where that wire ran through the grommet enters the rear of the vehicle. View attachment 1121086
Then run it where you find room. View attachment 1121088
And the up the rear support by the flip down seats. And back through the the weather fittings and so on.

In short it's not hard, it's just time consuming. I'm having a camera mounting bracket made and will inset that in the center of my rear tire carrier spare. Should be a clean install and the camera will be protected with a good view once I'm finished.
What are you using for the rear?
I have them too. I have the 5125 on the back but the valving needs adjustment. End of the month.Yes sir.
Today I addressed all of my past rush wiring jobs and did it correctly. Took notes from @pdxlc200 in a post he had some time ago. View attachment 1120475View attachment 1120476View attachment 1120477
@Canyonero Can you take a pic of the final look on the truck?
personally - I have no desire to ever get in deep water anytime soon with my rig. Never even questioned the mounting but it is a good time to think about all possibilities. The fire wall might be a bit higher (and it's vertical) but its tight for space (running wires). You could explore mounting the components on the underside of the fuse box lid - the reverse of my final mounting placement. If those fuses get wet you'll have bigger issues than the LED's and fridge not working - haI am pretty much going this rout also. Here is my delima. I worry about water splashing or actually up into the fuse block or circuit breaker. I have six current loads and adding another for the rear power for the fridge. Right now these are in those covered fuse holders that are actually water proof. I'm thinking of trying to put up higher in the engine bay where I currently have my differential breathers extended.
Although these Blue Sky components are marine rated for splashes mounted vertical and have covers, mounting horizontal could let the water settle into the fuse area.
I guess I really don't plan to have water crossings that are higher than the bottom of the windshield - and I know the engine bay is pretty water tight. @pdxlc200 @Willy beamin ?? Thoughts? Others?
