Replaced the grille and emblem, the old one could only hold a polish for 6 months before getting cloudy again. Bought during one of the big sales and it's been in my garage for at least 3 months.

Odd. Mine was pretty bad so I polished it a couple years ago and haven’t had to mess with it since.

I did use meguairs ultimate on it right after..
 
Ok, I think I need to do this because people flash me all the time. I tow and figured it was due to the weight on the tongue but I’ve checked this and it’s negligible.

Could you, kind sir, point me to a “how to” on this process?

Basically the LC auto adjusts the headlight level based on how much load you have in the rear (as the rear squats, it automatically aims the headlights further down). But when you have a lift, the sensor is only on the back axle so the sensor incorrectly thinks you have some serious rake because of the increased distance between the axle and frame, and so it aims the headlights up to compensate for it. That is why we're blinding everyone.

The fix is to adjust where the sensor arm connects so the sensor correctly thinks the vehicle is level. The sensor is halfway along the rear upper control arm on the driver side. After a 2" lift like mine, the axle side of the UCA stays where it's at, and the frame side of the UCA is 2" higher. Since the sensor is halfway along the UCA, the sensor itself (connected above on the frame) had gone up 2" and its rotating arm (connected at the halfway point on the UCA) has gone up by half that: 1". So I just needed to raise that sensor arm connection point on the UCA by another inch. From where it was mounted, I measured 1" up, drilled a hole, then reinstalled.

Thanks a ton for the link, I’m prioritizing this because I accumulated so much ill will on our last road trip that it’s shameful… I’ve blinded thousands.
 
That pic really shows how far forward the lift columns are for an asymmetric lift. I have a Rotary symmetric list and my columns are near the door handles. I went symmetric so I can load vehicles forward or backwards but I do like the way the asymmetric lifts allow more door swing.
 
Just joined the club! 2013 with 140k miles. Just drove it 1000 miles home. Rust free 😁😁😁. I have some 315/70r17 wheels and tires from my previous Tundra that I am probably going to throw on. Hopefully won’t need too much cutting 🤞. Though I did get close to 20mpg on the drive home with these tires which was admittedly nice

Installed a 2-row cargo cover system into my 3-row.. Serious thanks to @Artie for setting me up with the cover itself. Still had to order all the other stuff but this is cheaper than the rig getting broken into.

Toyota made it really easy.. the cutlines for the necessary holes were already molded into the back of the trim board. The whole job took maybe an hour and a half.

I've never seen that before and had no idea that was even an option. Very cool!

// edit - on closer look, I see I was slightly mislead by photo. I thought this was a cargo cover that even covered the 2nd row, but this is a cover going over just the third row (main cargo) area. Still great!
 
Note that on top of the cost of the cover the other parts to mount it are about $250. I can do a small how-to thread if there is interest.. think I got enough pics to have it make sense.
 
Did you notice anything different in the ride? I'm at 150k miles and thinking of doing this.
Now that I’ve driven it a couple of days, I would definitely say things smoothed out. I thought it was great before, but it’s even better now. My globes were fine, so I didn’t replace those.
 
Finally got around to mounting up a "not quite full sized" spare tire. 275/65r20. aka 34x11x20. Fit in the stock spare hoist with no drama at all--I think there is room for more, but I haven't really crawled around to figure out how much more.
