Just got my title yesterday. Ready to buy another one!Congrats! I paid mine off this year too. Feels great!
About how long did it take for you to receive your title after payoff?Just got my title yesterday. Ready to buy another one!
Went to the dealer for state inspection. I was happy to not have any EVAP DTC codes when starting it up this AM despite the emissions test isn't due til next Nov. EVAP and charcoal canisters are a topic for another day.
Anyway, I failed my state vehicle inspection. Bent rear LCA and tire damage from Cruisers on the Rocks and VA CLCC Fall Crawl. I wasn't sure if the LCA was part of the inspection process or if they would overlook but now I know; despite it driving fine. Was planning on buying a new one once the Toyota online parts sales start which is TBD.I totally missed the tire damage or would have thrown on the good spare before the inspection.

Local dealer doesn't charge for state inspections and have always passed me. Dealer said our LCA's have been on backorder and could take 10+ days to obtain one. Said I may want to look for an aftermarket LCA. Also said the front brakes and rotors need replaced but would pass inspection. They could not get a price on the Nitto Ridge Grappler, said it was a "specialty" tire.
They then handed me a quote to repair.

I politely declined. I have a set of new rotors and pads in my shed (from the last big Serra Toyota parts sale). I called my go to - Olathe Toyota Parts before leaving and they confirmed LCA is out of stock but could get one overnight. Also ordered a replacement tire from Tire Rack which arrives tomorrow.
I will go ahead and replace the front rotors & pads this weekend. Will install the LCA when it arrives. Then put on the spare tire and go back to the dealer to pass inspection. Maybe take the new tire and they can mount and balance.
I think the dealer was shocked that I declined and walked away. This forum has been super helpful for me over the years, especially on maintenance and repairs. Many thanks to all the supporting MUD members and vendors who contribute to this forum.
Did you buy your tires from TR? That should qualify for free replacement. You fill out a form, send them some pictures, and they either send you new tire or cut you a check for the replacement cost.Went to the dealer for state inspection. I did get the 5 tires from Tire Rack. Good suggestion. I'll give it a try.Did you buy your tires from TR? That should qualify for free replacement. You fill out a form, send them some pictures, and they either send you new tire or cut you a check for the replacement cost.
I thought about it and you may have convinced me to give it a try.I’d bet you could get that LCA pretty straight by flipping it upside down and working on it with a jack, just be careful about it slipping. Adding weight to the rear of the rig would help level out the link to make this easier.
Installed the 3D printed covers for the holes left in the wheel well arches after removing the 3rd row seats. Awesome quality on the parts, and exceptional service from the owner, Scott Kerr.

Why? 200s never had CarPlay. This alone makes me consider going through the trouble of moving to a 18+
Wow, must have hit that pretty hard to bend it even with the plate attached. I've always wondered how much that plate adds to the ability to keep the arm from bending.Went to the dealer for state inspection. between 2 and 3 weeks.About how long did it take for you to receive your title after payoff?![]()
I bought one of these around 15 years ago from Costco at the time. It's well worth it for me. I use as a final rinse, no water spots. The resin lasts me a good year doing regular washings on 3-4 vehicles. They even have a resin exchange program where they send you tubes with new resin and you put your old ones in a box and return (shipping label provided). Not cheap. But it does go on sale occasionally. I think I can get around 800 gallons through it before I need to replace the media.
