I bought one of these around 15 years ago from Costco at the time. It's well worth it for me. I use as a final rinse, no water spots. The resin lasts me a good year doing regular washings on 3-4 vehicles. They even have a resin exchange program where they send you tubes with new resin and you put your old ones in a box and return (shipping label provided).

Edit - just got an email from them on Black Friday Sale now on: 15% off
Use Code: BLACKFRIDAY
Xero has a 20% off sale right now. The chat guy said no resin exchange program because I thought that’d be amazing!

If the braces are not strong enough, these might be an option in the future. 6061-T6 lower arms with oem type bushings.

Are those arms milled in one of those cnc machining centers from bar stock, or do they start at as casting? They look like they would keep a mill busy for a little while.
Yeah, machined from a ~32"x4"x2" block of aluminum.

I just did a few little things yesterday.

I used a scrap piece of leather to make a heavy leather “box” if you will, that fits behind my seat. Lighter than wood, strong, and I think it looks cool. I also mounted a leather piece that has slots for my flashlight, headlamp, work light, and my leatherman. Nothing fancy: just drilled it into my wood storage box.

Finally, I sandwiched together three heavy pieces of kydex and mounted my two Streamlight battery chargers on it. I’m still up in the air about where I’m going to put it.

Just dropped off at dealer for persistent evap codes and CEL. Haven't driven it much at all since LCDC this summer. Needed it this week with wife's Rivian in the shop. Had multiple instances of CEL that comes back overnight on first power up. Cleared and drove many times and every morning on first power up CEL is on. Put new gas cap on as old one was definitely not sealing well. Still comes back. Had plenty of boiling gas at LCDC so hopefully extended warranty will cover a new canister or whatever the problem is. Fingers crossed.

My main concern was getting the bushing press fit correct for aluminum. I made the diameter a little smaller than what toyota had on their steel arms and doubled the wall thickness.

I'm going to test these out for awhile and make sure the bushings don't slip.
If all goes well, I'll update the design and little.

Currently, I needed to modify the front LCA mount to allow clearance for these. I don't want them to require modification of the frame to use them.

The version that won't require frame modification will look something like this.

They should fail around 20k lbs of force.

I'm not sure of the actual stock link steel material, but these are over twice the strength if they are made from 4130 steel. The stock links most likely use lower strength material than 4130.

Replaced a sticky Right rear caliper yesterday.

Hope to put some test miles on it this week following the valley plate reseal. Getting closer to getting back in the woods 🏕️

I was getting codes all summer and through LCDC. Eventually bit the bullet and replaced the charcoal canister. Codes haven’t been back since, but we’ll see next summer if that lasts.

Swapped out the damaged bumper for another stock one, had to transfer over everything so a bit tedious so I didn't break any clips. Also put Diode dynamic amber LEDs in
