Interesting. I wouldn't expect that tire combination and offset to catch the UCA. Might just be a figment of the photo?
To be honest, I never really noticed that curve (dent?). I thought that was the factory profile. The next two weeks will be a good test.

What dash cam is this? I am shopping currently for one but can’t figure which is best. Blackvue, thinkware and nextbase are the ones I’m looking at.
A Vantrue E1. Have the Garmin Mini in my Tundra. Both work fine.

Finally was able to install the roofrack over the weekend. Just need to tidy up the wiring, install two more crossbars and the front pressure feet.

Dropped my truck off at Elite Finish here in SD for a complete paint correction, ceramic coat, matching tint, a glass chip repair, and interior detail. Yes I plan on thrashing it (already have haha) but the paint needed a little love and ceramic coat when properly applied will help with keeping it clean.

While you’re at it I would see if they can apply the precut expel PPF on the interior piano black around the infotainment screen and gear shifter. I think I paid a couple hundred bucks for mine but it’s well worth it if tiny scratches tend to get to you.

Unfortunately, I had to get the timing cover and cam towers repaired. Did the timing chain and tensioners as well while they were in there. Not a fun way to spend money but at 175K miles and 15 years of ownership I think I was probably overdue for this. It's nice not finding small drops of oil on the garage floor each week now. Here's to another 100K miles hopefully.

did it ever settle. Just did the dobinsons 2 inch myself las month, compared it to a biddy who did a 2.5 OME, and mine was noticeably higher.
I think so, but haven’t measured. I will try to though. Away this weekend. It’s still lopsided though. 😔

I finally removed the stock roof rack rails, and installed a set of LFD Off Road's Ruggedized Crossbar Bundle. Easy Peasy! It took this old fart about an hour total. And a fair bit of that time was my insistence on exactly equal spacing.I then modified two sets of Malone SeaWing Kayak Carriers so that they would bolt directly to the LFD crossbars instead of using the supplied traditional clamps. A much more secure system than the previous setup.

Thanks @LFDOffRoad !

Getting close to 100k miles, Decided to hook up the obd2 to tablet for real time monitoring durinh trip to Montana. Nice to be able to see what's going on at highway speeds and on trails/mountain roads. Definitely a permanent addition going forward.

That is sweet! Looking to do the same after this hard CO trip from Houston. Lots of weird behavior but no perm issues. Can you tell me the original PID name for the trans case temp? And where does your altitude and GPS speed come from?

The app I'm using OBDLink has similar mapping as Fusion. The original PID name is Transfer Oil Temperature. And the GPS on my app is under GPS and altitude is under GPS but I had to do a search for it to show up.

Unfortunately it appears it’s not the actual transfer oil temp, as the sensor is located in the shift actuator external to the transfer case.

Also it doesn’t seem to be available in the earlier build 200s.. 16+ only, from the digging I did.
