Added rear LED fog lights. Quick job with adding two wires to rear lights harness. No cutting wires required. Comes on with light on.

Upped my first aid kit game with the Weekend Warrior from Outer Limit Supply (Outer Limit Supply: Dust, Crush, & Waterproof First Aid Kits For Outdoor Adventures). Not only are the contents high quality and extensive, the actual container is awesome and feels like a nice Pelican type case complete with pressure equilization valve. Travis the owner of OLS told me you can easily drive over the case without it breaking too! Of course first aid kits are like fire extinguishers where you never hope to use them, but you want the best if the need arises.

Looks like I’m late to the party again but thank you for mentioning us. Just wanted to point our new quick release mounting system as a way to secure your interior gear. It works with each of our waterproof first aid kit & is compatible with many of the other cases ( Pelican, SKB, Sea Hourse, etc.). Rate to nearly 300 lbs.

Installed a ProClip on the middle console and made an ABS platform for the HAM mic and for a magnetic phone mount for the GF. Attached a rechargable flashlight mount to the vertical column of the clip itself.

Where did you get the light?

Where did you get the light?

I have bought two different sets. One through eBay and one directly from a manufacturer. The one in the pictures is a more basic set which only comes on with lights on I got on eBay. I have one more set which I have put on eBay that includes as well brake lights built in. So this set will come on with lights on and as well middle part when brake lights kick in. If interested, here it is my eBay link LED Rear Tail Bumper Fog & Break Lamp Toyota Land Cruiser 200 LC200 2016-2017 | eBay

Pulled off my steps and gave her wash in anticipation of getting my BudBuilt sliders tomorrow evening!

Awesome, please post some photos and impressions of the sliders when you get them. I am leaning towards the BB units but haven't made a final decision. I really like the larger kickout in the rear to push away these pesky tight trees we have here in the northeast.

I installed the Slee Sliders this weekend. Slee does a great job with the shipping, packaging and the assembly is first class. The instructions could be alot better. I did manage to get every bolt and fastener installed, including the blind nut and allen bolt from hell. Whoever came up with that has a sense of humor. The best tool was my freind's motorcycle jack. It was perfect for moving the slider in and out of place so I could figure out which bolt went where. I'm slow, but it took me 10 hours. To get to the bottom of the frame, I had to drive up my front door entry stairs. Luckily my wife was out and the Association Nazi's had the day off. Just in time for a day's offroading in Big Bear Friday.

New air filter this weekend. Installed the last one at 66k miles just before the Breckenridge trip. I'm at 72k now. I'm normally not this regular about air filter changes but I felt like I was breathing in a lot of dust running behind everyone in Breck. This is what 6k miles and a snorkel does to your air filter, in case anyone is curious.

Side note: there was about 1 teaspoon of water in the air box, since I had plugged the drain hole. I might look for a 1-way valve option like the diff breathers use so I can plumb it in to let rain drain out but not take in water

Added a ladder, thanks Erich!

Can tell you the mounting brackets for the Gobi 200 LC ladder do not work for the LX. The spoiler is different so the top plate which is stepped for the LC had to be flattened. The bottom edge of the top hatch is also different so that mount also does not fit without some work. Going to call them since they are local and see if they want to use my truck to make one specifically for the 570. Will see but for now it’s secure and supported me fine.

How far back is your roof rack positioned? What mounting holes did you use? Can you take a photo of how close the ladder is to the rack when the trunk is fully open?

I have the Gamiviti rack but I think the ladder will contact it when I open the trunk

On the very back and the center mounts the middle slot was used and on the front the second from the front was used. Lots of room between the rack and the ladder here.

Thanks. Mine seems closer to the rear, but from your photo I'm wondering if it might barely clear. I wonder if there's someone I could buy the Gobi from and return it if it doesn't fit.

Yeah, looks like you rack in mounted one tab further back than mine but it may clear. I can measure how far the ladder extends out in the area where it would touch the rack when I get home.

I'm 99% sure it won't fit. I went down this path though never tried it for sure as I canceled my ladder order after waiting for like 5 months.
