I would ask the same questions...fuses don't wear out as long as amperage flowing through them is normal.

Right. I would just leave these fuses alone. But I've been having some occasional issues with road shocks (can feel some road cracks) at some point with my AHC. Especially at sport settings. Sometimes fine sometimes not. Very random.

When I replaced with fresh battery couple months ago. I noticed an improvement but not to my satisfaction. Always avoided sports but I do like it for higher speed or driving winding roads.

I recalled reading few posts that the fuse looked fine and continued to have electrical gremlin. Until fuse replacement. Problems were resolved.

I thought before I ditch AHC. I would try replacing AHC fuses.

When I was by Walmart. Found a box of 5 fuses for 4 dollars whereas you can buy a kit for 15 dollars. Contains 10 fuses each amp size.

I figured why not replace all fuses. After all... New fuses would be sitting in its packing for years to come.

What's more. I theorize that the AHC ECU may communicate with brake sensor as well as speed sensors and other sensors? to control shocks etc. So why not replace fuses that may be the culprit.

Maybe an overkill. But I tell you. So far I'm quite surprised last two days driving around Blackhills, SD.

Feels like magic carpet even in sports settings. Gravel roads felt much better w sport setting.

Installed a barrier for protection from anything in the back turning into projectiles in case of an accident. I plan on mounting a couple tools up there (axe, wood hack saw, etc..) now that I have this. Just have to figure out exactly which ones to know where to mount the straps. The grid acting as the barrier is only hanging by a few zip-ties for the time being because I haven't found the time to pick up the hinges I want (marine-grade UV & water resistant w/bronze finish) but I will post more photos after I install them. I chose hinges because I want it to be able to fold toward the rear if I need to put something in the cargo area while sitting in the seats, but the headrests prevent it from folding forward therefor preventing items in the cargo area from flying towards the passengers.

Super, do you mind sharing the part numbers?

PowerStop K1133 is a kit with rotors and ceramic pads for both axles. Roughly $400 delivered via Amazon Prime.

I'll look at the pads and see how I like them. Otherwise, I have a set of Akebono's in "inventory" that I can throw on.

@Cannon88 - Great to see you here on the 100 list Daniel. Getting geared up for hunting season already !!

Just did my heater hose tees.. Hot side nearest engine cracked and broke off had to dump pieces out of hose by pushing hose it fell into downwards and it all came out.. Double checked and washed out.

198k miles... Unknown if ever replaced though I believe they were once long ago since the ground wire was unclipped from the area already. Told my wife ... See that bursts and thats it haha, she's like o wow you were right... Men rule ;)

Chasing down a coolant leak. Suspect upper radiator hose clamp. I changed the hose 40,000 miles ago when I did the timing belt, but didn't change the clamp. Time will tell if that was the issue. If it's not the source I'll take it in and have system pressure checked.

Also, I drained and refilled the tranny with Mobil 1 ATF and lubed the drive shafts.

This morning was the first time I have had a chance to get my hands dirty since purchasing my 2007 LC. I cleaned the throttle body and Mass Airflow Sensor. This made a great improvement on the smoothness at idle. I was getting some rough/low idle that I would notice sitting at red lights. I really appreciate all the help from the folks who had posted the cleaning process. It was very helpful. Second I installed the VIAS MMI so now I have crystal clear audio from my iPhone. It's great. The basic install is about 20-30 minutes. I did a slight customization using a PAC brand USB cable instead of the USB that was included with the kit. I removed the cigarette lighter-it had never been used. And replaced the lighter with the USB outlet. See the pictures. It was a little extra work but it was worth it.

Fuse and AHC...
I have a similar issue that the sport or comfort setting doesn't do anything when changing the switch.
Might be the fuses as well.

This week I FINALLY had my system installed I have been collecting things here and there! Unfortunately I did not get pics of the full install but got the aftermath and the great fab work to get my sub installed! These are the specs! Lx470 Sound System
Pioneer 8000NEX (Head Unit)
Alpin
Apple Lightning to AV adapter

I was wondering if you have tried using your Iphone 5 with the 8000NEX to display MotionX GPS or any other app that is NOT appradio or Apple CarPlay ready? I would like to use the Pioneer to at least display the video for the app, even if the touch screen on the Pioneer does not control the Phone. I like to use MotionX-GPS but its not app radio or Apple Car Play ready, so wonder if I can at least get the maps displayed on the Head Unit.

I have not tried it but I can mirror anything on my phone to the pioneer head unit so I would assume that would mirror also?

Thank you! Do yo know if it scales the image to fill the display or is it surrounded with black borders? Also is it portrait or landscape and can you lock it to landscape?

I had a local fabricator make an interior spare tire carrier to my design requests. Here is how it turned out. As always, a second version would have some revisions, but this should work just fine...

Then had Red Ox, which is also local, make a tire bag that would accommodate a 37", although this is a 315 Duratrac here. I wanted to be able to swap a dirty muddy or snowy tire into the bag and not have it dripping into the interior...

So here is what my visibility is now through my rear view mirror...
