Switched over to 35w hid's. Not much light scatter and the pattern cut off is good.
Added Infinity Reference speakers in the doors. Great sound.

How about a shot against a wall showing the output.

Which model infinitys? Did they drop right in?

Set up a '12 FJC with a rack, then tore my interior out and got after it last night. I'm on hour 29 and fading fast.

Reset the parking brake using the adjusting star wheels per the FSM. I also rotated the tires.

Yesterday I replaced the little rubber nubs in the top half of the center console. The old ones had worn down and it was rattling. But NO MORE!

I am away in Kyrgyzstan for the week and will post photos of the manual hand throttle for you when i get back to Canada. I haven t had knee issues but am only 5'9. It actually seems to work quite well in that location.

Sorry to get off topic, but...Kyrgyzstan?!? Kumtor Mine by any chance?

Replaced the Rear Water bypass... It started leaking (i must have bumped the vertical pipe) when I replaced the starter a couple weeks ago.... finished off with an oil change, cleaned TB, and lubed the shaft.

Lights

I wired up a LabRak Camplight into a switch and relayed to the reverse lights. Also have FullyLit's 7w CREE reverse lights and some LED license place lights. 19 Watts of LED Reverse lighting.

Not as noticeable as it could be. Lots of city lights.

Lights off:

And wired a switched waterproof 16' LED strip to my Awning. It goes under the awning and inside it for nighttime light whether the awning is deployed or not.

That's really cool. Great idea. Did you use any sort of quick-disconnect on the wiring?

Yes Kumtor, why do you ask? Obviously you have been here:)

Well, not many people from the west have been too or even heard of Kyrgyzstan so I was curious. Yes, I have been to Kumtor when I was working for Redpath. PM me if you want to chat more about Kumtor, mining, Cruisers, or... Scott

Horns have been short lived on my rig...but just added PIAA horns (400 & 500hz) so hopefully this is it for a while on the horn thing. And they sound respectable instead of small car-ish...

Infinity 6032si. Minus clipping the metal around the bolt holes to fit the factory location, very simple install. The sound is better than the factory that they replaced, very good low and a crisp clear high (wife's description, she sings choir and has played classical music since childhood, so I'll trust her ear), mid range is solid.
Here's some pics in the daylight of the headlight pattern . I've also ordered some 20w cree's to install in the fog location and will show the pattern from those when they're installed.

I think he meant a shot in the dark. :)

Yes please. Want to see what the cut off really looks like.

PnP 55W HID Kit on 100 Series.

HID Projectors

The cutoff is :meh: :meh: on a PnP kit, it will glare oncoming, it will have hotspots, and it actually makes the beam pattern narrower than standard halogens. It's not fair to compare a PnP kit to a bi-xenon retrofit with OEM components, however I would save the pennies and invest in a proper lighting solution. I ran HID's for two solid years and loved them, I've played both sides of the fight.

I'm just curious to see his "good" cutoff. I personally will never run hids in a reflector housing. If I run hids it's gonna be a retro or nothing.
