Well, I got the driver’s side finished today. Passenger side should go easier now that I know what I’m doing. Getting the knuckle/hub/ rotor assembly back on was a real mother. Dayum, it’s heavy. I think I’ll soothe my impending soreness with scotch this evening!Just spent more money this week. Ordered Sankei 555 upper control arms and lower ball joints.

I finally broke down and grabbed one on sale. Got tired of using my bottle jack or borrowing one from my neighbor. I originally was going to buy the Badlands jack but this one was $100 cheaper and works great. I’m a fan of all my HF tools.Your Cruiser is in good shape. I want one of those jacks!
Same company has both sides.
Chassis all cleaned and protected with Chassis ShieldI am new to the 100 series. Coming from the 40 forum OCD Bettle has a really successful, fun thread where we post a pic of wheeling, a fix, a new part, etc. for our trucks.
It's neat to see the mix of projects, daily driving issues, weekend wheelin reports, etc.
I thought the 100 forum could use one...
I'll start...today I ordered an Iron Man 2 inch lift kit for my 99'.![]()
I bought the car with the “D” light burnt out so this is my first time seeing it on after I replaced the bulb. Is it supposed to be dimmer than the other lights? Reverse, neutral, park, etc.
I tried three bulbs, 2 aftermarket ones and an OEM bulb from dealer.

That looks great, is it a lanolin-based product? Also, curious to know how you got the booboos on the TOP of your locator arms, or did you reverse them at some time?Chassis all cleaned and protected with Chassis Shield

thank you @Ayune - I will attempt over the weekend. The emblem has two plastic alignment posts on the back, so you won’t be able to use fishing line to remove the whole thing at once. I suggest using the fishing line on the left & right sides up to the posts, then maybe breaking off the sides at the pins. Then somehow dig one of the pins out of the tailgate and repeat the fishing line in the middle section. The 3M eraser wheel is used to remove the leftover adhesive, then peel ‘n stick on the new emblem.

Yep smelt just like Lanolin or lanotec. No damage on the arms just an illusion created by lightning somehow. That looks great, is it a lanolin-based product? Also, curious to know how you got the booboos on the TOP of your locator arms, or did you reverse them at some time?![]()
