I finally got a serious Jack for when I'm working on my beloved 2000 Land Cruiser. Harbor Freight got this one right.

Its good that it can be stored compactly for hauling it on long trips. I carry one with me to CO.

And (shameless plug) listed the roof rack and awning in the classifieds: For Sale - SLC, UT: 100 Series Dissent Roof Rack and OVS 270 Awning - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/slc-ut-100-series-dissent-roof-rack-and-ovs-270-awning.1358225/

Sold one of my 80 series

Paid off some debt

Ordered for my 99
ASFIR skids full set

Victory Off-road upper shelf, window Molle panels, center console panel, 270 degree awning mounts, and led lights for shelf.

Puma air compressor

And a fan pulley bracket.

I’ve got some fun and not so fun work ahead of me.

Installed the cabin air filter retro-fit kit from @cruiserpatch. Great complete kit. Just a bit gross in there. I'll never understand why they didn't put the filters on every one of them sent to the US market. New engine air filter too.

How do the rosen sun visors handle the Utah sun when it is low on the horizon and you are headed into it? I like the idea of the added visibility but that has always been a concern of mine.

I did watch Otraam’s video on YouTube. Crank to driver’s to passenger’s is the way to go.
Did you have to manually move any of the cam gears with a wrench to get any slack? Thanks for the response!

Ive got my retrofit kit coming soon. im not looking forward to removing that damn door again though. but it is time anyways. I have the leaky gasket seal on it so it keeps dripping on the wifes feet.

Gamechanger for me around town, here's a photo from the other morning:

I typically wear polarized sunglasses when the sun is out, no issues with the visors. Should have more desert testing feedback soon!

Windshield wiper delete…. Just kidding.

Took off the old weathered windshield wipers and gave them a new coat with some trim paint.

Turned out pretty good. A little more glossy than I wanted but oh well.

EDIT: Worth noting I recently realized I made a big boo boo when I got rid of the factory LC blades and swapped out to some cheapo Costco Michelin blades. I didn't realize you could easily and cheapily replace the blade inserts and now i'm constantly stuck with noisy skipping wipers. Will swap back to OEM next fall...
