Its good that it can be stored compactly for hauling it on long trips. I carry one with me to CO.

Installed the cabin air filter retro-fit kit from @cruiserpatch. Great complete kit. Just a bit gross in there. I'll never understand why they didn't put the filters on every one of them sent to the US market. New engine air filter too.

How do the rosen sun visors handle the Utah sun when it is low on the horizon and you are headed into it? I like the idea of the added visibility but that has always been a concern of mine.
Over the weekend I played around different mounting location of the cell booster exterior transceiver until the Massive Metal Ditch Light brackets came in today.
Bought some 200 series wheels that had been powder coated bronze. Goes perfect with the black garnet pearl.
Also had brakes rotors and wheel bearings replaced.

Ive got my retrofit kit coming soon. im not looking forward to removing that damn door again though. but it is time anyways. I have the leaky gasket seal on it so it keeps dripping on the wifes feet.

I typically wear polarized sunglasses when the sun is out, no issues with the visors. Should have more desert testing feedback soon!

Picked up a screw for my original key fob and changed the battery. The original was "Made in Japan", the new battery had China on it. That put me in the mood for more parts, so I ordered replacement covers for the front of the OEM roof rack.

It does make it a little bit easier if you rotate them slightly. I did it by hand, very carefully.
Windshield wiper delete…. Just kidding.
Took off the old weathered windshield wipers and gave them a new coat with some trim paint.
Turned out pretty good. A little more glossy than I wanted but oh well.
EDIT: Worth noting I recently realized I made a big boo boo when I got rid of the factory LC blades and swapped out to some cheapo Costco Michelin blades. I didn't realize you could easily and cheapily replace the blade inserts and now i'm constantly stuck with noisy skipping wipers. Will swap back to OEM next fall...

I sanded mine down with a green scrubby then sprayed with satin black. If I had it to do again I may have gone with flat black.
