Got a photo of the “broken connector” in question?
Yes! I posted a thread about it. Basically I pulled off the protector plate, straightened out the pins and tried to reattach for now. I'd like to properly repair it, but not sure what exactly to do. The AHC works like it should, except that the back right( broken connection) sits about 1" higher than spec, when everything else is in spec. Not sure if I need to replace the whole thing (what exactly I need to replace) or if it's a simple repair.
Did you get some of these for the rear seats also? Interested to see some more photos if you did. They look like they turned out/fit pretty nice
A $100 Seat Jacker kit wasn't in the budget so after a couple different approaches to lifting the front of my driver's seat this was the one that worked. About 6-8mm of lift and the bolts are long enough to add a couple more washers if I wanted to. Not fun wedging my hand under the seat because I couldn't figure out how the front plastic trim cover comes off. You can see in the side picture the old max height spot vs where the seat is now.
PSA: Don't drop your resonator! While replacing my starter a while back I dropped my resonator tube and snapped off the forward resonator. I glued it back in the hopes it would hold up. Fast forward a month or two and I was dropping my daughter off for school and it started running like crap. Sure enough, the glue had failed and it was sucking air. I had some packing tape in the car to get me home. It actually lasted several days until the replacement arrived. I probably could have figured out a better bonding agent, but I would never feel right about it.
I found a clean used one for $350 from a 2004 LX. Not a cheap mistake to make! New will run north of $500.

Nicely done! Just washers/spacers and a longer bolt where the bottom cushion mounts to the frame?
Thought I was gonna have a nice easy time replacing my rear brake pads but I broke a wheel stud and don't have any spares. Guess I'm off to the parts store first thing tomorrow!
Just some regular washers is all I used. The stock bolts that go in that location are a lot longer than they need to be are are long enough to safely accommodate the washers I added. Going to take it on a 40 mile drive later today and I'll see if what I added was enough or if I need one or two more to be ideal.
Had a big Birthday and celebrated with an oil change and driveshaft lube. Kilometers, so we are just getting broken in. Please excuse the dust.

Replaced my bad downWard coolant hose from the heater T (replaced those last week) to the rear HVAC system. No moor oozing coolant!
I just replaced my inner and outer wheel bearings, put on new oem front upper and lower control arms, two new oem cv axles, new hub flanges, front diff seals, upper and lower radiator hoses, I had my front sway bar welded back to the frame with new bushings and endlinks. I also had them install some Dobinsin c59-223V springs in the rear. Close to 5k. I can’t wait for my 3 week road trip! It’s like a brand new Landcruiser again!
Stating to build my dream rig. 2004 LC 100 with 130k on the clock. Fairly rust free and clean for the build. Able to take the wife and 5 kids into the mountains and leave cell service behind.
Got some new Method 17” 705’s and wrapped them in some BF KO2’s (285/70/17). No lift and no rubbing. Ironman Pro 2” lift next weekend with some SPC UCA’s and a diff drop kit. Also have some White Knuckle sliders on the way.
Hope to hit portions of the Golden Horseshoe System near Breck over the 4th. I’d like to give Red Cone and Webster Pass a go while we’re there…

Got around to some deferred maintenance.
First was a headlight refresh. I'm debating the best long term headlight solution, but there's no question that my lenses were impacting the quality of the stock lamps. This will be good enough until I can move to morimotos and glass lenses, or whatever I end up with.
Second was checking on the rear brakes. Occasional noise from the rear made me think one of the calipers might be sticking, despite pads that are not that old. Investigation showed that both sides were wearing really unevenly and I was down to ~1mm or so on each side. I decided to swap out everything in back, with Bosch pads and rotors, and reman calipers. These will do until I redo all four corners, likely with a Powerstop setup.
