Added a ghetto attic rack to my poor man’s sleeping setup for my upcoming Colorado climbing trip. Also looked at the rear air control for the first time up close and thought, “hmmm, I wonder if this thing has rear heat?”

replaced my antenna last week and then bent it again today pushing through some branches that were bigger than I thought they were

Installed the M2V2 from @BenCC. Awesome product - the install took about 20 minutes and Ben's pieces fit perfectly. Also repaired my driver's side mirror housing after a neighbor clipped it the other night. Not the prettiest repair but the epoxy seems to be working well. Someday I may find a color-matched mirror but until then this should do. New glass from McGeorge Toyota is on the way.

How far out does the phone mount site from the dash? I have been thinking about this option.

Installed the Revel 100 series exhaust made by Tanabe. I love it! No drone while cruising and noticeable under wide open throttle.

Perhaps not as far as it looks in the first photo I posted. Here is another view. For reference, the RAM double-socket arm (from Amazon) is 2.42" in length. I'm happy with its position and it doesn't seem to impede into the front passenger's space.

Muscle, steel, and sex appeal is what comes to mind when I look at these newly installed Hitachi Coils, paired with DENSO Iridium long life plugs. I also changed out the air filter today with a basic FRAM. Simple maintenance to some, but it made me feel good. All but two of my plugs were hand tight. Only one coil had a crack, and they all look to be OG Toyota DENSO's, with possibly one or two of them replaced with OEM over the last 262k miles. Do I just discard them all, or are they worth saving? Without knowing how many miles are on them, I can't see myself ever reusing them...
I aimed plug torque to 13 ft.lbs., but torque range was from 13 to 15.
Not sure if it's just my deep sense of satisfaction, or if the LC is actually running better. Probably a little of both!

Keep a couple coils as emergency spares and give the rest to friends for the same. You can never be sure one of your new coils won’t suffer from infant mortality, and a coil is an easy diagnosis and repair with an OBD reader.

Finally finished installing my backup camera. Probably 4 hours of work total for this first-timer. Frankly, I just did it because my HU had the option, and I wanted to make it more modern for the wife- I'm a mirror man myself.

As part of the complete front end rebuild, I am replacing all of the bushings. At 380k miles, they had a good run.

I'd rather do three timing belt jobs than replace the number 2 lower control arm bushings again...

After fumbling around with a bushing press kit for few hours the ACME rod in the kit stripped out when I tried using a 3' breaker bar. I then resorted to brute force and an air chisel Victory!

The passenger side bushing came out much quicker since I went straight for the brute force method.

For more sex appeal/satisfaction put an OEM Toyota (Denso?) air filter in next time. Fit is far superior to anything aftermarket.

It's kinda nice to be able to dim them if you're on a road with lots of reflective signs. They are super bright though! I'm planning on getting a couple more to mount on the roof rack I'm getting later this summer.
