It's kinda nice to be able to dim them if you're on a road with lots of reflective signs. They are super bright though! I'm planning on getting a couple more to mount on the roof rack I'm getting later this summer.
That’s good to know! I was down to the Stedi TypeX Pro and the ARB Solis. I had the the AR32 Intensity before and yes you are correct when the light bounces off reflector signs, it’s too much glare.

On paper the Solis appears to be better (distance:Lux ratio) which was he deal maker for me. I’ll share my feedback as well soon when I install them.

Over the last couple of weeks I've replaced the front wheel bearings, front and rear brakes and rotors (all oem except parking brake shoes) and installed new Slee stainless brake lines.
Today I finally installed the Dissent aluminum skid plates I picked up in December. Next time I have some free time I'll install the Dissent aluminum rear bumper.

The red color on everything is not rust. It's the red dirt from the hills around here. No rust anywhere on my rig!

LineX applied to lower 1/4s and rockers. Cruiser Outfitters Part Time kit and Sumo 10% underdrive gears. This thing drives amazing now! Next up is installing the 40 Gallon LRA main tank that has been sitting here staring at me.

Any complications with the Slee stainless lines during install? About to do the same here.

LineX looks professionally applied!

Center caps with manual hubs came out clean - looks factory 👌

Not unless you're that one guy that hates to get up and fetch non-JDM-size wrench. (IIRC the bigger fittings are 18mm instead of 17mm)

Seriously though, they're basically plug and play.

Any worries about snow/wet driving with the part time kit? I purchased this kit a little over a year ago and I’m on the fence about having to use the CDL to have a 4WD car. How would that work on some faster trails where you’re going 25mph+ And wanna stay in awd.

I've lived in MN with winters my entire life. I've owned/own many part time 4wd vehicles , Jeep YJ, Multiple Jeep XJs, Suzuki Samurai, F150, and my current F350. All of them were or are 2wd rear wheel switched to 4wd on command. I've never had an issue driving in any kind of weather using proper care that the situation deserves.

Certain situations full time 4wd can be very nice, but nothing that part time 4wd can't handle as long as your paying attention. If your going fast enough on slippery roads that you need AWD than chances are your going to fast because your brakes are the same and won't stop you any faster. There's a saying in MN I've heard forever, AWD helps you go, but it don't help you stop. Most of the vehicles in the ditches during winter are little AWD suvs that give their drivers a false sense of security.

As far as the center diff lock it basically changes it to a electronic shift transfer case like millions of other vehicles already have. It will handle over 25mph just fine. Just don't do it on dry pavement.

It was. It's real LineX with the UV protect. I had the same shop do the Ranch Hand bumper on my F350 and it looks sharp!

Thank you. I think it fits the caps perfect with a 3.5" hole saw and some light sanding.

I didn't have any significant problems. Just pay attention to the instructions because they don't follow the same path at the caliper as the stock lines.

Bedazzled the rear window with the flags of all the countries we just drove the 100 in during our long trip.

Making progress on my SAS. In the past two weeks I have located the axle under the LC front to back / left to right. I then fabricated some brackets out of 3/16" plate, ordered factory hardware and then tack welded it into place. The radius arms are not longer on a jack stand. Next up will be to get the upper spring buckets in place. I want to see how the ride height looks when it is sitting on the springs. I will be flipping the tie rod to the bottom of the steering arm. It will give me an additional 3" of up travel.

Busy last couple of weeks. Replaced the original rear heater hoses under the truck since I wanted to be safe. Old hoses seemed to be in pretty good shape.

Next up was swapping out the oil pressure sensor since I had a low oil pressure reading on my dash at idle. New sensor corrected the low reading.

Finally for some interior work. I got tired of the scan gauge cable just hanging out on the dash so I drilled a hole and routed it through the center console. I also decided to fabricate an organizer for the center console lid since I really hate things rolling around in there. Pretty happy with how everything turned out.

I pulled over in a panic last week when I noticed no oil pressure being shown on the gauge while sitting at a stop light. The oil was fine, hoping it is just the sensor.
