Deleted the running boards. The WKOR sliders have taken a beating since 2020. Really I should get them re-powder coated before installing them on this baby.

Wait what happened here? Craig - was your 99 LX a total loss? Have you posted a thread somewhere I missed?

I don't think I posted a thread about it. It was heavily damaged from skidding between two trees. The right A pillar and B pillar post was was slammed and bent. Right doors, fenders, hood, front cap, bumper, and left front fender were all destroyed. Too much structural damage to the upper body to justify the expense of fixing. It's sad for me to think about it. I can look forward to moving all of the LX enhancements to the 20 LC.

100 SAS custom axle build. Stretched 5" and custom RCV CrMo inner axles.

Thought I’d take a quick trip shooting. Heading home -Ih8mud. Got stuck and was digging until a tundra (my anchor) came by and I winched myself out. Not even a quarter mile I had a quick air loss and found a rock had made a hole in my rim. Short trip took a few hours…

We've owned this '02 100 for 15+ years and done very little to it other than routine/preventative maintenance, so we made up for it this week. Updated with new Dobinson suspension 1.5" lift, new UCAs, Ironman front bumper + 12k Badlands winch and White Knuckle sliders. I'll add either 1" or 1.25" wheel spacers soon and will eventually go with different wheels. With only 200k miles I've committed to keeping this one for the long haul.

Many thanks to our local Cruiser shop, Rory and @RocketCityCrzrs who always does a fantastic job on all of our rigs. If you are anywhere near North Alabama Rory is your guy.

Of all the places to have a mechanical- in a mud hole with no anchor point- glad you made it out

Did the trucks 2nd 90k service at 238k, only a little overdue. Belt looked to be in good shape, radiator was original with no leaks. New water pump, radiator, belt tensioner, fan bracket and clutch as well. After I got it all buttoned up the ac light started flashing, ran diagnostics and got code 00, which I thought meant normal, still the light blinks. Guess I get to chase that down now. Wanted to thank @spressomon for the write up, that and the otramm vids got me through it.

Been making some good progress on the LC lately. Replaced the tired old rear springs with OME 2865's. Achieved my goal of a modest lift with increased load carrying capacity. Even with the help/distraction of a 5 year old I had it done in about 2 hours, including adjusting the front torsion bars.

Don't worry, the brake line and breather weren't stretched tight, though I did use all the slack. ;)

Of course we had to take a test drive that led to a dirt road... and mud... :hillbilly:

I just did a timing belt yesterday. Did you remember to plug the compressor back in?
