Flew into Denver for a quick weekend in the Colorado Springs area. I actually found a really cool trail that ends up overlooking the Air Force Academy. Pikes Peak in the background on the 3rd photo.

If you haven't done it before, make sure you hit Christmas Mountain. You need to reserve a spot by calling Terlingua Ranch - they only allow 4 rigs a day to go up. One of the best trails in TX, no doubt. I toured all of the national park back in Feb, and had a great time. I look forward to the state park next.

Damn, totally missed this recommendation. Still had a great time out there.

M24 EZFix is still available and free. It is not an add on. You don’t need to order anything. If you need to fix the sloppy door switch panel, just shoot me a message. You pay the shipping.

Update on the carnage.

Finally have all the old and busted out. All new and upgrade parts have arrived so time to get wrenching. Have a mountain of new oem parts including brake hard-lines, parking brake bellcranks ,bushings, seals etc. Upgrade parts are Trail Tailor UCA's and extended rear sway bar links, Safebrake extended SS brake lines, Dobinson extended travel shocks, and Ome 864 springs.
Coming together.

Finally finished my new tires and wheels project. Bought some OEM 16" LC wheels about a year ago. Had Les Schwab powder coat them. I painted the center caps myself. Ordered some black OEM lug nuts off eBay. Went with Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/75R16's from Discount Tire. I'm running 1.5" Bora spacers. I had a very tiny amount of rubbing but trimming the plastic a hair took care of that.

I'm pretty happy with everything so far, other than the drop in gas mileage. Before I could get 17mpg. Now it looks like 14mpg will be about as good as I can do.

Added the Street Rod Guys rear block off caps. They fit perfectly on the rear lines behind the passenger tire and didn’t need to do any cutting. They’re expensive but they’re way better than dealing with the Dorman kit which ultimately failed in my case.
