Put the big tires on. Toyo MT in LT295/70/18 on Tundra Steelies. So far, no rub but I haven't flexed on the Mall curbs yet. Also have 1.25 inch Bora spacers for a little poke.

I'm really digging the tundra steelies. Do you just find them used

Yeah, I bought a set of 4 silver round hole wheels with no tires for 35 bucks and then had to spring 40 bucks for a single spare wheel that had a brand new tire on it. I painted them all the same color with Duplicolor Graphite wheel paint.

Well I checked my tracking and noticed that my speedo calibration unit arrived and in the mailbox. Thought to myself weird, my youngest daughter bright in the mail today when I got my 2nd row cupholder, so I walked back out to the mailbox and looked in the parcel box and there it was. She forgot that package 🤦‍♂️ I have tomorrow off so I'll be installing this as well as the sway bar refresh kit

Then it was time to get the IM bumper installed. Taking off the stock bumper was pretty easy. The IM bumper mounting is not too hard either, except lining up and keeping the crush tube standing while working on a slanted driveway :) Got distracted with work work and some other things. So, I couldn't finish up last night. Should be able to get this aligned and finished up today. I will be retaining the factory recovery points for now and at a later time, I might switch over to something more 'beefier'. Found some small areas of surface rust behind the bumper. So, cleaned them up and sprayed some engine enamel paint that I had laying around. While I was going slow with this, there was an unfortunate casualty with the trim piece in between the headlights :(

Who sells this? I imagine going from a 31 inch tire to a 34.5 inch tire has mine off just a little.

Two options I think: one from Yellowbox, and there's the different one that @daohaus got that I can't remember the name of.
I found it. The Lutz-Box. Looks really simple as it plugs in-line.

Today's upgrades. Kids are gonna hate me when I show up to the game tonight. I have 2 high school daughters. LOL

just did the install super simple here's the video I did of the install.

The gorilla glue held. Super happy about that now I have a fully functioning 2nd row cupholder that works. I have the grey trim cover for the LC if anyone needs it pay for shipping and it's yours.

Continued the endless pursuit for the perfect interior layout that allows me to carry offroad gear, my spare, emergency supplies, and still have space for workhorse stuff. Part of me is very tempted to rip out carpeting and spray in bedliner, but i know it’ll be super loud, poorly insulated, and will probably reek for a while. Some day though maybe.

I also started designing a platform deck in CAD that fits on the driver’s side in the rear to function as storage / sleeping, but more on that if I make progress with it.

This has been a super fun truck so far. Hit the jackpot and inherited it from my grandma as my first vehicle, and it’s been a fun one to mess around with so far.

I worked out of my 100 as a carpenter for almost 6 months while I saved to buy a truck, this picture is all too familiar haha, I found it wasn't too bad of a vehicle once I put the roof platform on
