Are you planning to have them use the rivets again or going with the non-rivet alternate installation method that someone had figured out?
I wasn’t aware of/hadn’t done any research on alternate methods, so presumably the rivet method. They are putting cavity wax into the pillars, FWIW.

You could be hearing the brake booster motor running. It normally runs for up to 40 seconds when you first put the key in the ignition.
When I put my head up close to the cluster I swear it's coming from the cluster. But then again my cluster acts weird sometimes because it'll twitch the water temp and gas needles will jitter

Exit 2866 and 1” spacer —-> welcome 2864

Rather simple work of 40 minutes where 10 was devoted to securing the vehicle on the workshop supports

Did you unbolt the lower control arm? When I did the shocks and sway bar refresh I couldn’t get the axle to sag on either side enough to pull the coils. And I dorked around long enough with the top shock bolts I figured the coils could wait another 6 months. 🤫 I was needing a sanity beer.

Are you installing the skids with the factory front cover? If so, I'm curious to see how the coverage is.
No… I’ve had the ASFIR front skid plate on for awhile now. Just thought it best to finish off the complete set. I need to armor up for some Death Valley trips planned for this winter.

You shouldn't need to. Take the rear wheels off, first. Then once you take the shocks off their lower mounts and disconnect the sway bar links, raise one side a little and put a jack stand underneath it. That would make the other side just drop almost to the ground.
The spring should then easily come out

I left wheels on; disconnected lower shock mounts, stabilizer links, panhard bar, brake hose, and height sensor. Jacked up at receiver. Bada bing bada boom, reassemble in reverse

I my case, I did not even need to raise one side or the other. Just remove the wheel, disconnect the shocks and sway bar links and that it !

… even with the 1” spacer, removing the “old” coils was very easy.

I was quite surprised how easy it was !

Maybe lay some hands on it or call a priest, depending on your faith?!

Just got these... Once the caps and emblems are painted, I think they will look even better.

Love those wheels! Are they OEM from another Toyota? Are you running spacers?

They're Raceline 944B wheels, very aggressive offset 18x9 ET +12mm. You'll have to do a lift and pinch weld mod as well as some bumper trimming to get them to fit. They balanced great and looks great, centercaps i ghetto rigged one using TRD gel centercaps.

Just collecting parts.

-Ironman lift delivered today
-Theres a set of @TRAIL TAILOR rear upper and lower control arms buried in there

Just need front upper and lower arms and I'll be ready.

There's also a bunch of sound deadening materials for when I get around to that
