What’s your secret to such a clean engine bay? What’s your detailing/washing routine?
Yes it isIs this a 105?
I've found that once you have a baseline clean to work from, it's pretty easy to "touch it up" on a regular basis. In my case, I gave it a thorough cleaning when I first got it. But my general approach is this: I like to use a hose spray attachment with a mist setting for getting the bulk of the dust off first--being careful around electronics. I'll use some microfiber rags and a toothbrush + Simple Green to get the grime off. I rinse it again. Dry it with clean rags or compressed air or even a leaf blower (seriously, it works great!) Then follow up with Auto Drive Ultimate Cleaning Wipes (30-pack from Walmart) which cleans the plastics and rubber components keeping them looking nice and new without leaving behind a greasy residue. To be clear: no Armor All or similar! Hope this helps. What’s your secret to such a clean engine bay? What’s your detailing/washing routine?
I have this on my list , any before pics? and after alignment any noticable difference in handling on road?Replaced the tie rod ends. Surprisingly they came out for the most part without struggle which dropped a few bananas off the difficulty scale, now to find a decent alignment shop

No before pics just picture it looking 20 years older and a bunch of dirt haha, since I'm not going anywhere for a while I have ordered the ends for the tie rod behind the diff too so I haven't got it aligned yet but expect it to track and steer more positively. Also to mention a while ago I changed the other end which was seized on (prev alignment shop broke the ball out of the joint trying to get it to rotate for alignment). I had to use an oxy torch and a big bar to get it to come loose so don't attempt it 30 mins before a family dinner.. Hopefully with a bit of luck and wd40 it'll be a nice job for youI have this on my list , any before pics? and after alignment any noticable difference in handling on road?
yeah mines 105 too. I've often looked at those bushes and thought wow, they look knackered (split, some grease visible). thanks for the tip. you have the same OME dampener too. How did that feel when you took it off still viable? I got a little wobble driving but feel a lot like my 35s MTs gripping curvature in road. would be great if it held trueNo before pics just picture it looking 20 years older and a bunch of dirt haha, since I'm not going anywhere for a while I have ordered the ends for the tie rod behind the diff too so I haven't got it aligned yet but expect it to track and steer more positively. The damper felt still pretty nice and smooth pushing it in and out with some resistance. If the boots and grease are gone, the joint will wear quicker leaving you with loose or vauge steering if it gets bad. Also one more thing to check to help tracking on the road is that your wheel bearings are tight and you can also adjust the preload screw on the steering box if you have excessive steering wheel playyeah mines 105 too. It’s worth it, redoing the front diff bushing helps a lot and def worth the time and effort. For both it was around $220 shipping included from partssouq.com. Would also suggest to check with your local dealership maybe they can offer a lower price (cost of part is around $80+ each only) . Yeah not cheap but if it will last another 250k miles, I think it’s worth it.
How hard was it to find the steelies? They look fantastic.Put the big tires on. Toyo MT in LT295/70/18 on Tundra Steelies. So far, no rub but I haven't flexed on the Mall curbs yet. Also have 1.25 inch Bora spacers for a little poke.
You had to pull the SG out... what did you find? A racoon? A hobo?PSA: Make sure you guys vacuum the driver’s side footwell every once in a while. You don’t want debris or objects obstructing your access to the brake pedal, etc. Never know what you could find just hanging out down there.

Looks like a twin of mine! I also replaced the KING KTRS-79 springs with LC springs today!Finished up with installing the springs and shocks from the IM stage 1 kit. Without a lift, I can't get to the TBs today. And, It has been drizzling all day today. Took me ~4.5 hours working on a slanted driveway.
