I'm glad you're (mostly) ok, and sorry about your vehicle loss. Hopefully your package is covered by UPS' shipping insurance, since it looks like the exterior was damaged in transit!

DUDE! SOOO glad that was all that happened to you. Viewing the picture, it's not far fetched to think you may not have walked away.
I wish you the best with your neck and back injuries. I'm sure you've already heard it, but please do yourself a favor and don't brush off what you may think to be temporary soreness. Definitely go get looked at if you haven't already- once you sign those insurance papers, there's no going back when a flare up happens in a year. Neck and back are two things you DO NOT want to have long-term issues with, especially out of pocket, especially when it would have been caused by someone else, especially when that someone else is a company as large as UPS.

Finished the drawer side wings and the start of the platform above the stove pullout in time for labor day trip to camp with some friends (no trail running just good ol' state park glamping on a lake). Still havent finished cutting board/counter top pieces or the silverware caddy, but using for the weekend was a nice way to figure out what I rlly want.
Super happy with the set up this weekend. So nice to sit under the awning, make some drinks, cook some lunch, and be able to close it all up and go somewhere with ease, not to mention not having to move things to around to get to whats behind/underneath it. Really just threw a bunch of camp/kitchen gear without too much thought and it worked out.
Went through the exact same process, but used mineral spirits which worked very well.

EDIT: Keep in mind I've only used hand tools so far for everything. Hence my extreme desire to GO BIG or GO HOME

I have busted more bolts under my LX with a weapon like this, than I care to admit

Buy a good hammer drill with decent titanium bits and borrow the thread restoration kit from local O'Reilly's - you are in for some fun!How much are you asking and wonder how much to ship to Arkansas... I'm not seeing any issues with ball joints but feel the bushings frame side are worn out. Truck "drifts" slightly side to side of the road forcing me to over correct steering. Can't tell if inside tierod ends are bad but it has to be either tierod ends, ball joints, ca bushings or steering box.

I got that exact impact driver for Christmas from my girlfriend, after repeating the stats to her like a psycho yoga mantra for the entire month of December. I have smiled every time I've pulled the trigger. I have not experienced a stuck fastener since Christmas, and I would estimate conservatively that I've saved a solid three minutes total of turning ratchets on lug nuts since then.

This looks so good. I've been toying with the idea of vinyl wrapping the chrome part on my LX, but it'd be nice to just spray the entire thing and take care of all the rock chips in one go. Mind sharing what you used to prep/prime/paint once you got the plasti-dip off?
Finally getting around to finishing the fridge surround and slider combo for the back of the LX. I suck at woodworking but with that said it’s coming out pretty good. Not showing in the photo is the top being glued and nailed down and the edges sanded. Next I need to get a few D rings to mount on top and then find a way to secure it to t the back floor I made in the LX.
Cleaned MAF and TB. replaced broken fuel line clip at fuel filter, got all my switches wired up ready to be connected to their source, re organized recovery gear, replenished first aid kit and a good ol fashioned vacuum.

If you stuff your trunk during trips, you might find better fridge performance with the condenser and it's fan facing the rear of the vehicle for better air flow.

Somewhat embarrassing how little I did--I just scuffed it up with some 100 grit, then hit it with eastwood pre-paint prep to get the last of the goo-gone (oily) off, and Krylon Satin Black spraypaint--about three coats. Honestly didn't even think about primer, even though I have some plastic primer . . . because the paint is satin, I reckon any retouching it ever needs will be super easy.
Would have loved to order a 105 grille, but this looks really similar--as far as I can tell, anyway--and is roughly $340 cheaper . . .
