Yup, same. It happened on some accelerations from a stop but mainly happened when I was driving and would let of the throttle, then immediately apply it again. It felt like shifting weight in the rear of the vehicle; almost like a loose spare tire.Pretty sure it is.... after greasing my driveshafts, clunking went away
Nice work on the wheels! The enthusiasm of the crew is hilarious.Probably finished restoring a set of 18" LX wheels I bought over a year ago on Mud classifieds. They've been sitting on the side of the house waiting for me and some bonus project time thanks to covid.
Pressure wash, aircraft stripper, wire wheel and sanding. Had a little help, less than enthusiastic. Seems self defeating as they are or will be the primary drivers of this fine machine.
Couldn't find the good before pics, but I haven't touched the spare yet, so it's indicative of the salt-induced corrosion around here.
New finish is all Rustoleum - self etching primer, graphite high performance wheel paint and clear coat.
Not as smooth as I'd like, seems like some dust nibs in the sides of the spokes, so I may polish and hit it again with clear after it is good and cured.

Got a little project working in the third row where I won't have carpet back there anymore. While the carpet is out decided to Kilmat it to keep it quiet.

Let me know if you notice a dramatic improvement, was thinking of doing mine but not sure if the effort is worth it.
So without the carpet it is very noticeable. I won't be putting the carpet back in, so I don't know how much better it would be with carpet. There are some parts of the trunk that already have some on it.Let me know if you notice a dramatic improvement, was thinking of doing mine but not sure if the effort is worth it.
I dig it. I want to redo our factory ones as the last owner left wheel cleaner on too long and stripped some of the paint.Probably finished restoring a set of 18" LX wheels I bought over a year ago on Mud classifieds.
