Got new nitro ridge grapplers put on. 275/70r18. Had these on my truck and loved them. Getting ready for hundreds in the hills if it happens. Funny thing at discount tire. Nthe guy could not believe I was putting grapplers on a Lexus

Previous owner took off the emblems on the back. I am one of the few that thinks the gold look good but couldn’t justify ~$150 for badges. So I ordered some gold vinyl and cut my own decals. The Toyota badge I found out has holes so going to have to pay for the real thing on that. But all in all I think it came out pretty good. Best part is, if I grow tired of the gold I can cut a new color out and change any time.

New AHC globes, fluid and flush on the 470.

Two rites of passage with LX ownership... junking the ahc or getting it running right.

Also posted this in a separate thread but I'm so proud of actually doing this on my own that I had to post here as well. When I bought this car it was very intimidating but this forum is really the best. Not toxic and full of bs, just people helping each other.

Any noticable difference driving it?

Biggest improvement for me is the bobbing and body control. I took on a road with a dip at the bottom and it usually feels like I'm gonna lose it. This time it just glided over it.

Ride still feels a little rough but I need to check the pressures, might need to back off on the bars a few notches.

Good to know. I think this summer I might overhaul all bushings up front and rear and see how that plays out too

^ Talk about a clean garage!!

Getting the rig ready for a few guys trips in the desert later this year. Got rid of the old light bar and installed these big a$$ lights. Gave me the opportunity to cleanup the rats nest of old wiring under the hood. Ordered a relay/ 6 gang switch box from amazon. EZ install and so much neater under the hood, and inside the cab.

Picked up some 1.75 tubing to mess around with. I havent bent tubing in a long time, so theres been a lot of bad words today. Showed my wife what I was making, and she didnt like it, so it must be good! Haha!

Hopefully this bumper update gets easier so I can install the snorkel I've had sitting in my attic for 2 years....

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Bumper is looking good! I sold my bender about a year ago. Hadn’t used it for a while and wasn’t planning on needing it. That was all before the land cruiser. 😩

Thanks! Yeah, tubing benders are just one of those tools that sit... I thought about selling mine a few times, but now I'm glad I didnt!

Gave the 100 its first oil change since we bought it a couple months ago. It was time to give it some fresh Mobile synthetic and a proper OEM oil filter. This Oil Filter brand oil filter was a good laugh.

There is a clunk sensation upon acceleration that I have noticed lately. Time to start hunting for the source in the suspension/drivelines. Its annoying!

The ol dreaded drive-line clunk. Check out your driveshafts; it's possible they just need some grease.

Thanks for the tip. I hope that is the case!
