Pulled the front 3rd member to get it ready to ship to http://gearinstalls.com for a Harrop e-Locker and Nitro Gear bearing installation. I need to order new bushings and figure out how to improve the diff breather hose.
Finally pulled the old rear end out and put the junkyard locking rear in that has been sitting around for months. Waiting on the wiring so I can get it hooked up right.
Nearing the conclusion. Construction complete and just finishing work to do now. I'm covering the top in carpet and staining the face. I'm using compression latches to secure/ lock it. Still waiting on some edge molding and pull handles to arrive from Amazon.
Painted and installed caliper on front drivers side. I picked up the calipers on Amazon, they’re OEM rebuilds by Callahan. Out of the box they look to be excellent, though I didn’t pull the pistons for inspection. Price was right.
I went with SPC. They seem to be very well built. Can't waite to get them in.
Unfortunately my 2 yr old son just came down with a fever so I will need to wait until next week. 6 days and counting!
Completed part 2 of sound deadening for a customers 100 series. 1st layer was damplifier pro by SecondSkin, 2nd part is Second Skin Spectrum. 3rd part goes in this coming week. It’s a time consuming process and a labor of love. The results are absolutely incredible. It’s like driving in a casket while the tornado sling aluminum cans at the cruiser. You hear nothing. Sorry, best analogy I’ve got.

Curious what deadening pads are those and where to buy them? planning to do this on my 2019 Fit, not so happy with its noise acoustics suppression design feels like I’m inside a tin can.

Drove it!
1st time in 86 days. New OEM CVs, 555 ball joints, new Nitro gears, ARB front locker and OBA single compressor, Torfab mount-(still have AHC), @cruiseroutfit supplied all but Torfab mount; built locker for me. Ran out of brain power, so doing the wiring and switches for the compressor another day. Driveline clunk is gone, too. Had an audience to see it driving out.
I steped up to 33's (275-70-R18) from Nokian. The Rotiiva AT Plus is very quiet on the road (hardly noticable), has really good behaviour on wet pavement and I like the style of them, while beeing all-season-tires for winter use on german regulations.
As I drive 90% on road I wanted a mild AT and am pretty happy with the result.
Only negative point I have to ad: as probably all E-rated tires, they send small shocks right into the cabin... The super smooth ride of the AHC is somehow affected by that bumpyness.

Damplifier Pro by SecondSkin is who makes the pads. By themselves it’s a drastic improvement. I’d do the bottom and all doors and panels. The 3 step process would add some weight. for an 09 200 series it added approximately 115 pounds total spread over the vehicle. Not noticeable as far as weight. The sound difference is amazing.
Safety Tip - When cutting the the tailgate for a storage lid, don't double check that all of the cables are out of the way...TRIPLE CHECK! I cut right through the tailgate latch cable on the passenger side when it was tucked under the sheet metal. That slowed down my Huracan lid install.
I am attempting to quickly source a replacement locally... don't really want to spend $100 on a 24" cable from Mr. T.
