I didn't replace the bushings. They looked ok enough for now. It was pretty easy to get it back in the bracket, so doing it later should be fine. Sounds like something I should do in the future tho.

Welp, since I installed my snorkel I decided to take the magnet approach to mounting it to the pillar so I ordered the magnets off Amazon since it was Prime 2-day shipping... well, 3rd day goes by 4th day goes by and finally 5th day goes by and Amazon sends me an e-mail letting me know the order might be lost in the mail. Bummer, canceled the order and ordered from another vendor that has 1-day shipping so hoping to finally get these tomorrow.
If Amazon can get their act together, you'll love 'em. Going on 4 months of regular commuting and semi-regular off road trips, and they've held well. Brush and branches don't seem to affect it, and neither does going airborne (or the landing).
That's reassuring to hear. The most annoying thing is seeing the snorkel shake/knock around at freeway speeds.
My experience matches this too. I have wheeled the truck, as well as plenty of freeway miles and even some car washes. Rock solid so far
Replaced rear hatch struts with new Maxpow ones from @CloudCity. Next up is replacing the PS fluid reservoir and flushing with fresh M1ATF with a bit of AT-205 (reservoir and AT-205 also from CloudCity's storefront). As a relative newbie, it's nice to have a place to browse for the obvious maintenance and upgrade items that need doing.

I sourced all Toyota OEM parts. Timing belt, water pump with gasket and O-rings, hydraulic tensioner, idler bearing, tensioner bearing, cam seals, crank seal, thermostat, serpentine belt.
Non-OEM parts include: fan bracket, idler belt tensioner pulley, idler pulley, heater T's & upper/ lower radiator hoses. Paid $278.
I feel I have a complete list. I also have 3 gallons of Red coolant and a flush kit.
Labor will cost $350, so not too bad on a 2002 LX with 325k. Not much of a history on it.
Anything I am missing?

Make sure you have a Thermostat Gasket (16346-50010) on hand for your mechanic as I didn't see that listed in your parts. Also if you are going with aftermarket heater tees make sure that they are exact size as OEM if you intend to re-use the heater hoses/clamps. Many here included myself have switched to stainless heater tees to extend service life and reliability but some are slightly undersized and may leak if not changing hoses (and clamps) at the same time.
You have a great price on the OEM components, but as @Maxthrust27 said, be aware that substandard installation could negate your savings if issues arise during or after the service. If possible could you please share with the forum where these parts can be had for this substantial discount? Good luck with the Cruiser!

I will get the thermostat gasket. I figured the thermostat came with one. It looks like it has one. Please see the pic. Thanks for all other advice.

He is a good reputable mechanic that has done many timing belts.
I think he is giving me a "family friend" deal.
The only thing is he said he uses Permatex grey on all of the toyotas he does.
do you have a link to the struts?
do the parts look genuine? that seems like a crazy low price for everything together.

Had to put spacers on because I didn't have enough clearance between the tire and the control arm for snow chains. I like the way the wider stance looks, but hate the way the tires throw mud. I will take them off in the spring.
I really am liking how tight these cam type chains get. I will probably still use a rubber tensioner though.
