After 15 years of ownership decided to give my 2003 a little love.

190K miles
TB/WP
New K2's 275/70/18
ARB Brush Bar
Slee Step Sliders
Painted the bumper / trim/ flairs Bright White
Tesla radio
I like the truck without the flairs, but when I pulled them off my paint was really bad.

6 weeks ago this truck was totally stock. Feel like I have a brand new truck...

Replaced the “D” bulb on the cluster

I need to do this. What type/size of bulb is it? I'd like to have it before I pull the cluster.

^ This. Do the D-light mod.

Inspired by @REZARF and other home builders! Building my own drawers for the back of the Battle Cruiser! All cuts made with a circ saw and track guide. Yah, I need a table saw!

It’s a T4, same bulb used in the AC controls and some of the switches

The D light isn’t annoying at all at night. It’s actually a little dimmer than the P, R, N, 2 and L indicators. In the LX470 the tail light indicator is more annoying than the D light

Got a month long issue fixed. Had randomly rough engine at idle, but it was fine above 2000 rpm. After running two tanks with fuel system cleaner, got no improvement. Ended up being a cracked spark plug that also shorted the coil. This also remedied the constant gas smell surrounding my cruiser. I’m assuming it was the unburnt fuel going out the exhaust.

I got my Icons 17" wheels on, running it with 285/70/18 KO2 Load Range C. I'm loving it so far, not as heavy and stiff as the Load E's, and gas mileage is less than 1mpg worse than before. They look and rides really well, this tire size, you can find tonnnnns of them on CL and FB marketplace, these came on the new Rubicons, most Jeep guys just buy the jeep and upgrade to 35's and sell these for next to nothing. The wheel weigh 27.5lbs per my scale, and the tire weigh 51.5lbs per my scale.

They look just about right, not too big not too small on the 100

This is a pic of the least reliable vehicle ever made, and the most reliable vehicle ever made.

I did a test, i filled up at the Wawa near my work, this is on stock Michelin tires, 150lbs cargo, a 100lb full spare from my 305/65/18 setup, a set of sliders, and roof rack with miscellaneous junk on top. Flat road, no hills, no traffic, a smooth ride home on saturday with 20% city driving and 80% freeway. I kept it at 70mph on the hwy, drove 30 total miles.

Result was impressive

Now i mounted the new setup, same gas station, same cargo same route home, same style of driving. Keep in mind the new setup is roughly 6% larger than the stock so you have to add in some more miles to the avg for speedo error. I drove same path home and it registered 28 miles not 30. If my Asian math is correct, after corrected MPG calculated by the diameter difference, i'm getting 19.2 mpg

Overall i'm happy with my switch, this new setup should stuff into the fender and not rub during full compression, can't say the same about the previous setup, it was a tad too big and super heavy 97lbs total. They do look good though, makes the 100 look like a tank

Cleaned 15 years of nasty greasy grime from the DS seatbelt.

Idk how you guys get those MPGs. I'm consistently at 12.5 to 12.8 with 33.2" ko2 load e tires on stock 18s. That's with an 04 5spd. I hit 13s to 14s max when we take our trips up north but those are like 500 miles interstate..
Same. Makes no sense. They are photoshopping those pics just to mess with our heads haha.

Bumped up air pressure to 47 all around after seeing 19.2mpg 🙂

I finally bypassed my factory amp today... it was a long time coming. Audio is clean and really enjoyable now, plus I put new Infinity woofers and tweeters in the front doors.

NEW ISSUE: When the head unit powers up, I get a short but very audible buzz/hum. It's almost like an antenna tuning, but it doesn't seem related to the antenna at all. I should add that I did not completely bypass the power in the amp, only speaker connections.

ANY HELP APPRECIATED! Happy Labor Day!
