That particular scale was ~20% low when I weighed a radio tower shelter and base, which resulted in a real problem when the helicopter couldn't lift it. That was an expensive oops.

Pacific steel on griffin if you ask real nice will let you play on their scale. I’m 50/50 yes and no. I’d bet the dump in Logan would do the same

Painted my barwork for the 55/80 build. Flat black to offset the glossy body paintwork. Time to paint the diffs & chassis.

Driveshafts are back. Went to the only driveshaft shop in the area; owner's old, like me, and a wheeler. He's the closest shop to the Rubicon and gets plenty ASAP work in the summer, I told him I was in no hurry and proved it by not calling once...
