Replaced drivers side CV axle (leak, warranty replacement), cleaned/repacked front passenger side bearings (replaced/packed driver side bearings) with new OEM assembly hardware, drained and filled front/transfer/rear diffs (Mobil1 75/90 LS synthetic) and topped off coolant with a new radiator cap. Everything checked out perfect in all the other key areas, so good to go for my summer adventures.
Bit of advice here for those that routinely off-road and do water crossings: went to replace my driver's side CV and found that my bearing races were fused to the axle. I do LOTS of water crossings. There was plenty of grease in the bearings and it looked very good actually. It appears that the repeated splashing into cold water crossings with warm axles slowly fused the races (kind of like how cold water crossings and hot rotors can lead to warping)....that's my theory at least. I think I need to up my maintenance schedule from 30k for bearing check and repack to something more like 10k. Again, I do a lot of water crossings and really like to FLY on the gravel (smooth thanks to the ToughDog suspension setup).
