Decided to repack the CV’s. Using Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic for CV’s. Slapped the large clamps on the inner boots from Pfran’s kit. I had already done the smaller inner clamps. I offset the clamps to lessen any vibration potential. Probably was not necessary.

Hitting the 250k mark and setting up for another 250k. Steering rack, CVs, tie rods, shocks, wheel bearings and brakes. But it drives so nice at 80 mph now

Rear diff lock light would just blink suggesting not engaged NO matter what i would do... unlike the 80. So i took the actuator off the axle and did the following:

Disassembled.
cleaned brushes.
cleaned comm ( the part where the brushes touch) i think thats what its called.
cleaned the 3 contact looking fingers where the spur gear lives
cleaned the contact plate that the 3 fingers touch.
cleaned the solenoid.
glued one of the magnet back on the housing.

I dont know what specifically fixed it....but all of the above got it working...hth.
i need to do this. Was it difficult to remove and keep everything in place/lined up? Thanks

Installed new belt molding. The old stuff was cracked/peeling and scratching my arms when the windows were down.
The rear quarters will have to wait for more day light and better wheather, and a helper. I didn’t realize you need to remove the glass/window to get to the 1 screw for the belt molding. DOH!

I also did this, it was getting annoying looking at the blistered and degrading rubber. Feels good knowing you have good seals!

^^^what did you use to polish the fog light(s)?

Got to take advantage of these warm Texas Decembers. One step closer to finishing out my front bumper. Got the winch and knock off ARBs installed, now to finalize and install the wiring/controls.
