My alternator went out after 234k so rather than just getting a reman..... I upgraded the alternator to a 130amp 07 tundra 4.7l with 68k. It takes a different connector and I had to relocate a wire mounting point. Yes, it’s a pain to get in there.

Installed an interior light inside the garage door holder.

After.

It is actually not as bright as it seems in the picture. It is much dimmer in person and does not distract / messes with your focus on your eyes.

Grabbed my snow removal beast from my storage unit today with my car trailer. I keep it home through the winter. I always tow with my ‘16 TRD Tundra but wanted to see how the 100 did. Plenty of power but needs AirLift bags like my 80. Ha. 1992 JD 430 diesel with 54” hydro blade for you JD fans.

Based on old blue tube seals in picture. These were done before with aftermarket seals. Did you find old head cover gaskets was aftermarket as well?

Were old tube seals leaking?

Good eye! Yes, the passenger side was replaced by the P.O. but her tore the seals going in. Leaking oil into two of the tubes.

Kids and I washed the holiday grime off. And I rewarded them by going to kids museum to play... :)
I’m starting to really like this ole 100. It cleans up well, can’t wait to really detail it and install the wheels. So my lady can take it! She’s trying to get an LS460 on the sly(OK ITS NOT HER ITS ME :-) )

Went to the "valley" (McAllen, TX) for Thanksgiving. Spent most of the time on my uncle's 1200 acre property. Used my ARB 2500 Awning as a cover for our reloading area on our range. Camped 3 nights in my new Smittybilt Overlander tent (very impressed with the quality and comfort). And, shot my cousin's absolutely ridiculous "Dirty Harry" .44 with Leupold scope.....hit the 8 inch target panel 3 straight times from 100 yards :) Took me 4 shots, but I actually hit that same target using my grandfathers WW2 issued 1911 .45 with standard sights (could barely make out the target from that distance).

I need a set of those brackets!
If you have access to a printer, I can send you a PDF of the brackets. You can then print out and trace onto your own piece of aluminum to cut. I couldn't find T-bolts or aluminum plate locally, so I ordered them from Amazon.
