I cut out some quick release brackets that work with the stock rack siderails for a second hand awning I picked up.

I don't understand the yellow fog lights. I get the theory... but I just can't stand the way they look.... they scream: fart cannon, broken body kit, and 90's honda @CruiseLanderAZ am I alone on this one?
LOL. You got me. My first car was a modded civic... *cough* rice rocket *cough*... that was 11 years ago though. I guess I still have a little ricer in me.

Now getting back to topic. Girlfriend decided to go urban rock crawling. She jumped a curb while leaving the gas station and ripped the rear bumper halfway off. Then proceeded to drag it all the way home. The car is barely 2 months old too.:bang:

Anyways, times like this I can really appreciate the extra cargo room in the Cruiser vs 4runner. Gonna drop off the bumpers to my friend's body shop.

Do you mean..”EX GIRLFRIEND”? :-)

Busy week for me. I'm getting ready for a trip to Colorado to do the Rimrocker trail and pick up a Conqueror UEV 490, so I used that as an excuse to beef up the rig. In the last 3 weeks I've done:
  1. Installed Dissent Rear Bumper!
  2. Installed the BT45 Toy bluetooth
  3. Adjusted AHC pressures and leveled ride
  4. Installed a RedArc brake controller
  5. Installed a 6gage charging plug for the trailer
  6. Installed Ruff Tuff seat covers
  7. Removed the exhaust resonator and installed a new AP exhaust.
  8. Picked up a Viair 400p
  9. Full detail in and out
  10. Had an early Thanksgiving with the Family!
I think I'm ready.

Nice work! Hey is that BT45 toy Bluetooth easy to install or as complicated as it appears? How long did it take you? And how does the exhaust note sound?

I did this in my 80 when I had it and decided to do it in the 100 as well. Running the wires on the inside of the top tailgate pillar is lots of fun....but you can’t see the wires at all.

I tapped off the rear light for power. It is controlled independently of the rear though. If you run it this way you still have to ground the light, otherwise it will only work when on ‘Door’ but not ‘On’. Works great.

Glow rods make this project possible.

great youtube video on brady adventures on install use it like it and subscribe so he keeps putting out more useful videos

I just used some yellow wrap that I got off Amazon in mine. Still have the white leds in the light. I would really like to match the amber in the side of my 05 headlights. Anyone here tried amber leds or something similar?

I got the Lamin-X yellow film for my Ironman foglights (they come in pre-cut round which makes install super easy). The film protects against impacts from stones which is a nice additional benefit. I run the Hella 55w clear bulbs and absolutely love the setup. As a side note, I run the clear Lamin-X film on my headlights and love the added rock chip protection.

The bt45 was super easy. Just pop the trim, pull the air vents and unbolt 4 screws to pull the radio. Then, it's just plug an pla gu. You can PM me if you want have questions. The exhaust is throaty off the line, but smooths out at freeway speeds. Its6no louder than the wind noise my snorkel makes!

I had a productive weekend. Pulled the brake master cylinder - booster pump assembly. Rebuilt the MC with a new Toyota sourced kit and replaced the booster pump/accumulator assembly with a new unit. Part numbers:
04493-60330: Cylinder Kit, Brake Master - $56
47070-60010: Pump Assy, Brake Booster W/Accumulator - $810

The whole job took about 5 hours and fair amount of cursing. The hardest part was probably lining up the hard lines and gingerly threading them on.
Flushed all front and rear lines and the brakes are MUCH improved. I am still taking it in to the dealer to have them do a proper flush.

Thanks sounds easy.. I-have the 2002 LX with nav

I’ve never ridden in a luxury Ute with a snorkel! Lol I never thought about the sound it makes… But for that serious off-roading you’re doing it’s a necessary evil. Plus it looks the part! :-)

I will certainly private message you once I’ve purchased the Bluetooth and if I have any questions I appreciate it in advance.

Those are nice but expensive. As an alternative, 2005+ 4Runner and Tundra horns will plug and play for a more modern sounding horn.

Have you heard a JDM 200 horn? I won't go back after running them.

Yes, but $15 from the junkyard vs $100. The junkyard horns are loud enough to startle the phone talking, wondering soccer mom.
