Finally got my Dissent Offroad bumper on. Used U-Pol Raptor Black. Went on nicely. Now if I can only get @MetalTech4x4 to replace my UPS lost driver side slider.... Passenger side and hardware delivered June 2nd. Think I must be the redheaded stepchild as all others had great responses from them.

I'm still waiting on sliders as well, ordered June 3. Hopefully this month, eh? I'm almost doen paying off the credit card charge for the sliders. Hopefully get them before the end of Sept. when the hot weather finally goes away.

Finally finished my 2" body lift last night, haven't got any daytime pics yet... time to start working on custom mounts and winch mount for the ARB bar I picked up cheap. It's a 100 series IFS bar so different chassis spacing, plus it's white so needs a colour change

Replaced my outer tie rod ends. One of the boots was torn up and my alignment was a little outa wack since a run a couple weeks ago.

Was preparing for some torching and yanking, but it went rediculously smooth. Couple odd things. The DS which with the torn boot was significantly shorter (1 inch) than the replacement Sankie 555 from Cruiser outfitters. No problem, I just moved put the new end on 1" and then did the 6 turns to match the previous one.

Since it just makes sense to do tie rods in pairs I did PS too, although it seemed fine. Had a made in Japan on it and was closer to size of new 555, but still 3/8" off. Odd to have different ones on there. Checking spreadsheet from PO said they were done just 21,000 ago. I wonder which one they actually replaced. Will have to check the hard copy records to see if there are any notes on this.

What do folks prefer for folding the cotter pins. Around the nut (perpendicular to bolt, try to fold into crown), or over the top (parallel to bolt). Also I did not thing the 53 ft/lb found around was very secure. I saw @2001LC used the listed 90 ft/lb, which seemed very tight.

Bought it, five new tires, replaced five TPMS sensors, tightened torsion bars, LED reverse lights.

90ft-lbf is correct and over the top one leg and down with other is correct. (factory just does over the top with one leg of cotter pin). Also worth a note: If cotter pin hole doesn't line up tighteen to line up.

Replaced Heater T's on my '06 w/ OEM's from camelback. Originals w/ 147K. The best part of the job was when my wife came out and saw me laying in the engine bay and said "What the hell are you doing now?" 'Putting in new heater T's darling." :) Eyes roll.......ugh. "whatever."

Also re-foamed passenger front door speaker I blew last week while I was cranking 'Use your illusion II' album a little too high I guess with re-foam from simply speakers ($20).

And helped a fellow mud member with black '98 w/ 247k plasti dip his grill and wheels w/ 5 coats of matte black.
Now he is in full stealth mode.

1. Added the Huracan Storage system. Still debating what to cover it with but love it.

2. New alternator complete with having to drill out bottom bolt after some a@#hole crossthreaded it last time.....

3. Heater T's changed with 155k on them. Overall decent but the edge was missing off the hot side.

I did notice a drop in my AHC and PS fluids after alternator went out..... filled both accordingly to prep for an upcoming trip.

What have you done to MY 100 series this week.??

....after all my enhancements this week I got slammed on the left side rear wheel today and turned the car a full 180. He missed every body panel and hit the rear wheel with only rim damage....he was a lucky boy for minimal damage as he was uninsured but unlucky the cops where sitting across the road and see him hit...expired registration and no insurance....gonna hurt in fines.

Love my truck...always feel safe in a 100 series no matter what hits you.
