Apparently I got up in the middle of the night and installed the "screaming banshee" window mod. Very nice mod might I add

Are those poly bushings?
I had a chirping noise from the belt area so i was going to just change the belt, when i put a 14mm to the tensioner, it had basically zero tension in it. I can almost push it by hand and remove the belt. With that said, the tensioner was shot, it lasted 200K miles, which is awesome. Ordered a new tensioner and mitsuboshi belt from Ranma12 and replaced both today.
This job absolutely sucked ass, to get to it, you have to remove the timing belt cover, the power steering pump, and the alternator, a couple bolts were stubborn and didn't want to come out, one of the bolt for the timing belt cover was seized, i had to wiggle/bend it out, the long one, and use a vise to get the nut/bolt to separate. Thank you Toyota for burying the tensioner down there. Timing belt looks good, no cracks or dry rots, i'll change it at 300K, PO said he changed it at 150K.

After replacing these two, the truck is as quiet as a mouse, idles smooth and no more chirping!
Finally got around to changing the rear diff oil. The filler plug must have been over-torqued by a previous mechanic and I had a hell of a time getting it off. First attempt was with a normal 12-point socket which rounded it some. Next I tried a 6-point socket which still couldn't get a grip. Then I tried the 6-point with a handheld impact which didn't do anything. Next I got a cold chisel but all that did was peel off the edges. Then I used the chisel to make a spot for a flathead screwdriver in the middle of the plug and tried the impact driver with a flathead bit on that but no luck. I was going to try a pipe wrench (but didn't have one small enough to maneuver under there) before I finally grabbed the multi grips and contorted myself to push off the inside of a wheel with my legs and brace the multi grip handles against my shoulder which got it to finally loosen. This is why you always get the filler plug out before the drain plug (which I did) so you can still drive the car to go get tools and advice.

Ohh Wow!! Glad you got it off, was the gasket installed with the drain plug?
Is the shore power just a 110v extension arrangement or is it more tricky and charging the battery/s also.Shore power outlet to power the fridge and relocated the trailer outlet into the bumper on my 2D BECH Lexus. Hitch mod next.

Hey Phil. Purpose of shore power on a Truck? Are you parked next to the boat slip?
To power the fridge when at our beach trailer while down in Mexico. We travel down with a full cooler and transfer the food into the trailer fridge once cold leaving adult beverages and other drinks to stay chilled at 30°. The outside shore power outlet makes for quick and easy connecting and connecting when coming and going.

Started the trimming on my grill. Eliminated the smaller horizontal pieces just keeping the larger ones. Going to trim the toyota center portion soon too and install the TOYOTA up front for a cleaner look then just bolting it over the orinial sombrero emblem. Maybe mesh behind the larger openings now??

I like it. Maybe trim the vertical pieces of the bumper grill to match the main grill? Maybe even color match the chrome?
