I'd be real interested in where you got the floor mat anchor & grommet :coffee:

Both EBay - The anchor came with the new floor mat set:
NEW OEM TOYOTA LAND CRUISER GRAY CARPET FLOOR MATS & CLIPS 1998-2002

and the two-piece repair grommet came separately:
TOYOTA CARPET REPAIR GROMMET FOR FLOOR MAT HOOK HOLE 58297-50020 | eBay

Replaced heater tees (I'm at 175k) following the FAQ procedure. Soap and an assortment of different pliers and channel locks got it done. Engine cover removal helped. It seemed that every spring clamp was oriented 180 degrees from where I needed them...must be an inside joke at Toyota.

A barb broke off each one on removal, they were basically welded to the inside of the hoses. I grabbed them with some needle nose pliers and small flathead. Good for another 100k.

These put the sports car feel back into my truck vs. the marshmallow handling I was used to with the stock shocks. No more nose diving under moderate braking, no more squatting taking off from a stop, and it soaks up hard hits as well as rollers like a high end SUV without any harshness. The body roll is all but gone... she stays flat in the corners now. I didn't realize how unsafe stock shocks were with all the added weight until these returned all of the control that was missing. Easily one of my favorite mods thus far. Highly recommended! If I spent $3k on a set of adjustable damping shocks (that I'd probably never be able to justify buying) then I'd probably end up setting them to the same feel as these. IMO they're damped perfectly for my added weight (full drawers, bumper, spare and gas carriers, dual batteries, roof rack, sliders, etc.)

LOVE the F5's! I had them on my 01' D.C. Tacoma I had previous to my LX. They are basic, raw, yet refined. Love your setup.
Thanks, yeah I think they look awesome. Had em on my old Tacoma as well. Look just as awesome on the 100!

Took her for a long 4th weekend at the lake. Everyone suffered some body damage including the brand new 4runner :frown:

awesome video, i need to get a drone!

5.29s with the 3:1 t-case gears turned the 315s much easier :smokin:

Wait, I didn't know anyone made 5.29's for our front IFS dies? Where did you get that?

Made a light removable back shelf , no tools needed to install. Ready for road trip! ( when you close the back gate it all tightens up very stiff and stable.

K,

If I keep her she will be getting a 105 SAS front swap and full Monstaliner "Jungle Love" exterior with a 4" TourFLex suspension.

Exterior she's about a 6, but interior is a solid 8-9.

J

Right on.

And Monstalined trucks can still turn heads!
