Replaced passenger side lower control arm assembly. Front bushing was super squeaky and ball joint was shot. Also installed new front shocks while I was in there. Silent & tight now!

Looks like you took it real easy, you must be an Eagles fan:) Regardless I love that pic and how your part-time front hubs look:beer:

Surprisingly not an Eagle fan but I was there. The 911 Memorial made a bigger impact personally.

I made the rear cargo power outlet always hot. I had another matching plug that plugs into the back of the outlet in my parts bin.
I ran 14AWG wires from my Blue Sea fuse box through the driverside firewall and down the doorjamb channels to the outlet. The original plug was removed and is now unused.

Today I removed the body from the chassis. Because I will do a body swap with a damaged Land Cruiser 100. The new chassis with the driveline and engine are still fine and only have 120k miles.

Disconnecting the body from the chassis was pretty easy. But it was really hard to lift the body, even with a forklift. The body needs to be lifted over the transmission, so on this height it became really unstable on four jacks. But we managed to take it of safely. I will also make a thread about the body swap with further information.

Out of interest can you estimate the body weight?

Cool pics! What % tint do you have on your LX?

Great idea. Have you noticed an improvement?

it got colder faster, 3 minutes to vent temp of 39 or so from the drivers side vent (inside) it's 92 out, feels like 98.

A little cleaning? That is OCD clean! Nice job!

thank you Sir. I'm ocd enough that that wiring job looks crappy. But I stop when it gets too hot out. I ran out of small shrink sleeves and wanted it done, until another day.

Been getting tootsie roll candy with every packaged order for several years from Landcruiser Phil, even the local pick up orders. First generation window socks, saving the tootsie rolls for an emergency. ;)
