This didn't happen today.

But I just want everyone to be aware of the fact that @LandCruiserPhil included Tootsie Rolls in this order of mine.

Pup-proofed the back.

Fixed my door stopper that had torn out of my left rear door. Fashioned a back plate and epoxy glued and bolted a new one back in place. Seems to work OK now.

Installed floor mat anchor grommet, which gave the new floor mat something to grab.

3M vinyl wrap for side panels. 5' roll was just barely enough because I wasn't being very careful enough with the rough cut to size. Not perfect up close where the existing film was chipped underneath, but much better. One spot grabbed and pulled off some of the paint on the outer panel section (front drivers side, of course...) - oh well.

Also removed the bug deflector.

Techstream cable and CD arrived, so I can take care of a zero point calibration issue I developed after trying to swap to an ES 300 steering wheel last weekend.

Also received new heater tees, but I'll save that for a cooler day.

It seems to happen to the doors used less often, not more often - which is unexpected (by me anyway.) If it helps, the metal I used for the patch is 1/8" x 1.5", and I used LOCTITE® EA E-120HP epoxy (sanding the inside of the door to get to bare metal. Also, there is a youtube on removing the door panel that was very helpful to quickly open it up. I'll see how it holds up over time.

Thanks, I may take the patch and weld approach since in the long run it's good practice and doesn't show much. I'm an old pro at taking the panels off since I have done several projects that required it.

Not this weekend but the past 4 weeks I've been baselining and modding my truck in preparation for a trip to Colorado. It ended up coming down to the wire on time but I managed to get it finalized today, the morning I planned to leave I did all of the easy parts myself, but sent the truck to a shop for the more difficult time consuming ones since I needed it done quickly. Parts list (in no particular order) included:

- TB, WP, idler pulley, tensioner pulley & cylinder, thermostat, serpentine belt
- SPC UCA's with upper ball joints
- Lower ball joints
- New brakes & rotors all around
- CV axles
- Inner & outer tie rods
- Inner & outer front wheel bearings
- Spark plugs
- Cleaned MAF sensor & throttle body
- A/C compressor
- Coolant flush & fill with Toyota red
- Power steering flush with ATF
- Brake fluid flush with Toyota DOT3
- Engine oil & filter
- Alignment
- Extended sway bar links
- Cabin air filters (discovered I have the door on my 2000 LC)

Waiting on the outer tie rod to arrive before it hits the alignment rack

All packed and ready to begin this 2,000+ mile journey!

I woke up and decided today was the day for a new stereo! Took me a couple of hours total and I've been asking myself ever since why I didn't do this three years ago! The wires weren't all self explanatory or I would have had it done sooner. Only took me literally 5 minutes to have the factory unit out. So glad I did it! Made a huge difference in audio. CD player had quit on me three years ago lol

This happened today. I punctured one of my stock sized Michelin LTX tires on the edge of the sidewall. They were worn, but still had some life left in them. But not enough to be able to replace just two tires, so I had to get a complete set. Ended up getting a complete set of 5 BF Goodrich KO2 285/75/16 for just a little more than 4 new Michelin tires. The wife actually approved!

Yeah... I know I need to remove the running boards, but I have "vertically challenged" wife and son. I plan to get sliders eventually.

Sprayed speaker grills black tonight and replaced interior bulbs w LEDs. I think the black grills give a newer look, LED kit is huge upgrade from bulbs.

Don't think so. It screws in from back of panel. Thanks to video above and YouTube it was pretty easy
