How hard was the install on the roof rack??
The roof rack portion was cake - I just used the two outside light tabs and zip-tied the wiring to the inside of the rack.

Added some Rigid diffused lights to the back of my Gamiviti today, really like how this turned out:

Nice switch looks factory, does the same company offer a dual switch to fit the same location?

Thanks, I love how it looks virtually OEM.

Here's the seller, I don't see any dual switches: zsjladyshop on eBay

These guys have a bunch of switches, too, not sure if they have what you're wanting: offroadarsenal on eBay

Thanks:cheers: Ill be looking:)

It would be nice to find a dual switch where you could use one side for a factory feature and the other side for accessories. All the spots on LX470 are taken with other useless crap.

Yah, the only switch I've seen that will fit the square spot is the OEM diff lock from the 80 series - I've got one on hand in case I ever decide to go triple-locked.

After you install an Attic Rack and fill it with stuff you no longer have light in the cargo area.:( I addressed the issue by installing button LED lights in the hole where the 3rd row seat belt attached. Wired it to the existing dome light so the new 1 watt LED's are controlled just like the dome light. The new lights work great and are brighter than the factory dome light. I previously upgraded my dome light with a super bright COB LED panel. The pictures below show the brightness comparison between the old and new. Because of the location and angle of the new lights they are hard to see from the back but the effectiveness of the light output is strong. Everything is now well lit, with good color, clean, and all wiring hidden.

Where did you pass the wires through from the interior to the outside?
Drilled a hole in the upper left rear, under the hatch but outside of the weather seal. Taped and ran the wires, then sealed with RTV silicone sealant.

The problem with MT LCA (for me) is the adjustment length- if you need to correct pinion angles- the uppers are too long and need to be cut down, and the lowers are a bit short- requiring more thread exposure and less internal bite. If simply matching OEM length-they're fine.

TT can custom cut the DOM tube to your preferred measurements for max strength. He's also got the option to add threaded adjusters in the DOM tube so they can be adjusted while mounted- this makes pinion tuning super easy.

Good info.... just thought I'd throw out another option. I'm making my own anyway ;)

I've been horrible about posting what I've been doing, so here's two:

Raised my spare tire (285/75/16) with a new method to angle the rod, and very happy with the results:

Removed the trim on my center console, but OMG this was the biggest PITA. Anyone that 'just took it off' is either blessed, an amnesiac, or a sadist because I swear it took me 4 hours just to get the adhesive off. Goo Gone, Acetone, blades, scrapers, sandpaper, I dread doing the rest of the pieces. I had no choice though, as something had damaged the veneer and it had turned yellow and started peeling <sigh>

I'm seriously considering buying new pieces from Mr T if I can, assuming they won't have had the veneer installed (that was a dock item right?)...

^ Now that it's summer it's time for the trim removal reminder - if you run your truck with the heater on high, windows closed, on a really hot day for like 20 minutes, all the trim will peel off easily, and no glue residue either.

I have considered that also...

Found the lower for @130 before shipping.

Looks like it would come without any stuff stuck on it.

I removed all of mine. Used goo gone sparringly as it can remove the paint from plastic. I then cleaned with soap and spray painted with multiple coats. It's held fine for a few years now.
