Need to do this one. Pretty easy?

Yeah, it's not bad. Getting the console pried free was a little nerve-racking, as I wasn't sure if the resistance was normal or caused by said soda/coffee. But it came up just fine and is pretty sturdy, so don't worry too much. Unplugging the harnesses and removing the switches was super easy. As with anything, just take your time.

Now, if I can just keep my OCD in check and resist the urge to buy a new console piece due to light scratches.

I'll snap one for you in the morning and post it, I am in there so many times I don't even push the console down all the way anymore! The back side with the cup holders is always slightly lifted just enough so I can grab and pull it out.
I should say my reason for this is I have been re-doing a bunch of my electric mods/switches and wire routings!

Picking it up from dealer today. Things I had them install-

-OEM Toyota Starter+Install
-Fuel injector O Rings
-Spark Plugs
-Clean TB

This was the first starter the tech has ever installed in a LC. He said he found a rats nest under the intake plenum.

Edit-$1066 was my total bill for parts and labor.

I didn't, sorry. But in the picture below, you can see where the tabs on the back of the console panel fit into the console opening perimeter (red circles). The green circles are where little "guide" tabs slide into place.

My OCD kicked in and had some paint imperfections fixed. Hard core wheelers might frown upon this, but I'm happy and the shop did an outstanding job.

I sold my 4Runner today. With luck there'll be another 100 in the driveway by the end of next week.

What do these trucks do to you? Thought I'd have kept that 4Runner forever.

Difficult to say what they do to you, One thing I noticed, normally when you get a new/other car, you are happy for a month or two, but then it gets “normal” and it’s just a daily drive. However, this 100 still makes me fell happy/lucky/safe and turn on a smile whenever I open the front door and get in, weird! It’s the oldest and best car I ever had.

However, this 100 still makes me fell happy/lucky/safe and turn on a smile whenever I open the front door and get in, weird! It’s the oldest and best car I ever had.

My wife has a 200 and every time I drive it I want to tell myself I like it as much as my 100 series and need to someday "upgrade". It is newer, the interior is admittedly nicer, the 5.7 has more power, the cool box is a "cool" feature, it has a better radio, and the additional off-road features are nice. But, I go back to the 100 and just feel more comfortable. Maybe because it isn't as nice as the 200 and I don't worry (too much) about scratching it. Maybe it is the memories I've made in it with my family on our weekend trips, and summer/winter trips to Colorado and the Grand Canyon, and the friends I've made here on the 100 forum and at events like 100s in the Hills. My kids are getting older and these memories can't be replaced or recreated in a 200 (the exhilaration of our first experience up Imogene Pass and down Black Bear Pass can never be recreated!). I feel at home when I climb into the drivers seat of the 100. Yeah, it's just a car but it is full of good times and memories.

Same feeling here. Been in lots of new vehicles and they just don't compare. By far best vehicle ever owned.

With the help of some great write-ups on this site, I replaced the sub and front driver and passenger door speakers that had blown. No way I could have done it without the great help and pictures from here. Struggling to get the drivers door lock mechanism out so I can change out the lock motor that is no longer working when hitting the lock button on the door or remote. I just can't bring myself to pay the $400 the dealer wants to replace the lock mechanism.

I've had my 100 for over two months now and I couldn't agree more. I just LOVE to drive the thing. If it weren't for the god awful fuel efficiency it would be the perfect car. Still, I love it.

I had shopped for my husband's for six months. Once I was able to choose between it and the 4Runner, it got pretty tough.

He finally gave me the go-ahead, even after modding the 4Runner, to get an LC of my own. Have a deposit down on one and will use 4R profits to do some small first mods. Can't wait!

This weekend we camped in Stamford, NY. My husband was already working up toward Stamford, so he met us there. He is farrier, and he drives the LC every time he doesn't need his forge (which doesn't often happen). He says everytime he drives it he tries to scheme a way to get rid of his big diesel Chevy so he can drive the LC every day.

Love El Nino. Highs in the 50s, low in the 40s.
