Which avital system did you go with. I literally just came inside from installing an avital 4103 with a dball2 module in our Acura TSX. First remote start. Thought I was done. Got it to start with the remote start but it's not seeing the brake so it won't come out of gear and it doesn't see the key when inserted. Will have to deal with that tomorrow.Gutted and replaced the old busted autopage remote start system with an Avital system. AWESOME! Worth EVERY Penny!
I would not even bother with the effort to replace. If you just tore it off, I'm thinking you are wheeling pretty mild stuff. No real reason to replace as it basically does not do anything but help with dust, I guess.I completely trashed my stock plastic skid plate this past weekend. Anyone know what a new one costs, or have one they'd be willing to part with? I was going for the TJM unit but I'd take a stocker until I save up for Slee or BIOR.
Got my Blackstone Labs report back, happy with the results.Changed the oil and filter, sending an oil sample to Blackstone.
Ya, not the most hardcore wheeling at all. I appreciate the advice. I've got to try to get it all the way off, right now it's just super busted and hanging on with 3 bolts.I would not even bother with the effort to replace. If you mean the plastic / fiberglass / whatever 'mid plate' (that's what I call it - fits behind the front 'skid plate'), I have one. I never put mine back on after removing it to replace a cat. No idea how to ship the thing, but you're welcome to it.I completely trashed my stock plastic skid plate this past weekend. Thanks Crimson, I think I'm going to follow the bluecruiser advice and leave it off until I can get real skit plates. Seems like the smartest/easiest thing to do.If you mean the plastic / fiberglass / whatever 'mid plate' (that's what I call it - fits behind the front 'skid plate'), I have one. No problemo - thats what I'm doing. I just kept it in case a mud member needed it.Thanks Crimson, I think I'm going to follow the bluecruiser advice and leave it off until I can get real skit plates. Seems like the smartest/easiest thing to do.
Nice score. After I put on roof rack this week I plan to start on my 1-drawer (half the cargo area to allow use of one of the 3rd row jump seats). Was about to start my drawer system, bought the wood and everything and remembered a local mudder had posted a basic one still not coated or or carpeted a while back. Got a hold of him and he gave me such a good deal as his lx was sold and he was deploying soon that I could not pass it up. Save me countless hours of labor. This is the base and am going to finish it for our needs but I see why folks like these, very useful having a place to put things without them flying all over the place.

he was nice enough to give me some matching carpet but am leaning towards hurculiner roll on bedliner. I love when a project gets a huge head start. Another side benefit was made my ride smoother as the ironman foam cell shocks seem to like the little extra weight on the axle.
Need to do this one. Pretty easy?I had a light rattle in my lower center console, and could no longer deny signs of what looked like spilled coffee/soda in some areas. So, I removed it, took it all apart, cleaned all the switches, pieces, nooks and crannies, and put it back together.
