I'd think that if you could get it for $750 then that a great deal. Body looks straight.

actually the block is still in it, everything off the block, trans and transfer still in it, as are the drivelines.

it's not like I really need it, but hard to turn down when they aren't all rusted. I figure if the guy goes for it great, if not no big deal.

Guy would go down to $1500. to much for me, If anybody is interested I can give you the contact info, located in Columbia Falls MT near Kallispell and Whitefish

seems the 69 year bodies held up pretty good. I have one that I'm going to tear into soon. does anybody know the reason?

I'm very near columbia falls, but I surely don't need another.

I do have a very low miles rebuilt F engine that I would go into this one and make it complete. if someones interested.

have you seen this one, it's on the west side of town heading toward Whitefish

I have not seen it, but I have had several people tell me it was there. one said he had been seeing it there off and on for several years.

Salt

From growing up in Idaho, and making several trips through Montana i am pretty sure that they don't use salt. They call it sand, but it is really more like gravel. I don't know why in the hell they use salt back east, but it is a huge mistake. Sure in Idaho, Montana, Washington, etc you might need to replace your windshield every year but you car will last a lot longer.

C'mon, Montana + snow = salted roads. I bet you didn't look hard enough for rust. I'd say $1,850 is waaaay high. $750.00 sounds fair for a non running complete truck that needs some work.

sorta true, I make sand for the state DOT, we add anywhere from 5%-16% salt content in the sand mostly to keep it from clumping up to bad.
