After the last trip to the cove I keep getting hung up on rocks and bent the ubolts pretty good. (The kids have been bugging me to get bigger tires since.) I debated making my own flip kit, but ended up ordering the 4+ Products kit.

All that's left is to cut the bolts to length and torque them to spec. Then find some time to wheel it.

Looks awesome, Monty! Great job dude

Still needs bigger tires :flipoff2:

GX got a new radiator yesterday.

D@mn they are effin' proud of those things too. Bit it had to be done, other one started weeping, pulled upper hose and found the mechanic who did the t-belt must have crushed the neck.

I have since learned the discoloration is a sign that it was just a matter of time anyway, but still stings the wallet a little.

I also 3M'd the headlights on Saturday. They weren't really bad, but they are real good now.

Now just waiting on the wheels to come back from the Powdercoater so we can finally mount up her KO2's.

Sucks about the radiator Matthew. Did you end up getting one from Lexus or Toyota? Wasn't sure if you found out if the 4runner rad would work.
Post up a pic after you get the new wheels and tires mounted!

@Bama4door I got it on good authority that either one will likely work. I ended up with a Lexus unit as I didn't know any better when the parts monkey said it wouldn't cross over, but have since learned that even thought they have different part numbers that all the connecting hoses and even the shroud are the same. I actually did some on-line searching and found an online Lexus dealer and compared to a Toyota online dealer and the Toy Rad listed for like $80 more than the Lexus unit, but after their "discounts" the two were actually within $10 of each other. The Lexus unit has "Toyota" markings on it, so my guess is they are the same, just with enough variation in the PN to keep the monkeys scratching their heads.

I could have saved some, but I figure by the time I paid shipping and all it probably would have came out about the same as the raping I got from the dealership. And sweet lord, was it ever an A$$ handling, it ought to be illegal to smile while you butt punch people like that...

Anyway, I drove it today to make sure all was good and I will put the menagerie of guards and covers back on tonight and hand the keys back over to Erin.

And you bet I will post pics of those wheels. She has been on me about that for months now, so you might see them on FB before I even get them home from the shop.

Got Erin's wheels back from powder. Color is TCI Quaker bronze. Looks straight brown in the direct sun, but is more grey in the shade, interesting to say the least.

Nice looking 100 Tone!

Nice looking 100 Tone!

Thanks! You'll have to teach me the ways of the 100. :) Although this one probably won't see any real dirt for a while...

Replaced power steering lines and a leaking reservoir. Also fixed my fog lights on the ARB and replaced the RBM that failed in my DBS while I was in the Philippines. Sure was easier not in the boiling hot subbasement.
