Took the family up Fall River Road in RMNP. Chill drive, and beautiful this time of year.

Changed out the charcoal canister this weekend for the autozone one. Realized I really needed to do this after the gas tank pressurized in Moab way more than usual. It vented for 15-20 minutes when I took the cap off in Moab instead of the normal 3 second hiss and now it doesn't hiss at all. Also washed 3000 miles worth of dust and dirt off and waxed it.

With lots of luck, cussing and knowledge gained from reading/searching this forum i was able to replace all 6 front control arm bushing (passenger side shown below) using my 12 ton HF press and sawzall. I used OEM toyota bushings from Beno. Hopefully, i won't be doing this job for another 20 years!

truck rides awesome! :steer:

Left south from about an hour south east of Pittsburgh 7:30 sat am. Just got home 2220 miles latter in NW MT 4am Monday. Including a shucked Alt belt (no idea when that happened but it was someplace between Chicago and St. Cloud MN) that in turn got eaten by the AC drive belt, and having to wait till 10am sunday for a parts house to open up to get a couple new Alt belts and then swap those in.... Other wise trrip went off with out a hitch, and the long highway runs seem to have cleaned out some of the carbon or something as the idle has lost the the annoying like clockwork miss/light fire.....

Finally sold my 17" powder coated steelies. V excited they're going to a great rig, another Mudder's 80 which will be getting a 6BT and full expo/refresh treatment. Hopefully he will post up here since that's a fantasy setup..

I once 3X's locked climbed over a Buick on OME 3" and 315's on a dare.

Someone has a video somewhere of it.

bypassed the rear heater, it was leaking. Man that driver side heater hose was a Bitch. Is it ok to lay on the Engine?
I only have about a credit cards worth of clearance on mine where I bypassed it. I can see light between the motor and the hose though. Been like that for 8 months now with no issues. I'd say you're good.

OH! The hose doesn't lay on the engine, but I was to do the job. But I put a big moving blanket down first then laid on the engine.

Explored Wilson creek to linville gorge nc via FSR and got a good hike in at each one. Fireside dinner, Some trail time and some blue ridge parkway cruising in October always makes for a good weekend.
