Where? I haven't seen snow in 7 years...

Took the snowmobile trails (452 and 8) from Paradise to Grand Marais MI. Had some pretty big water holes, only pic of a smaller one. The burn zone near the two hearted river is getting green again.

Put new brushes in my original 1994 alternator (264k) and re-installed it after removing the new, custom built 140amp unit that would not charge at idle. After calculating total amp load in a scenario where I am wheeling at night in the winter while it's raining and I'm jamming out to tunes of choice while lighting up the trail before me better than necessary, I concluded that my stock 80 amp alternator is more than sufficient anyway. Glad to have my $276 back. Now I can order a Tuffy center console lock box with the coveted cup holders! :bounce:

Tried to repair antenna mast - failed miserably

Drained it of accumulated water!!!! We had probably four inches over the 4th and I left it outside for a free car wash. Must have clogged roof drain - passenger side sounded like I had a gallon of water sloshing around and it turns out I did.

Drained under siphon for a solid five minutes. Yeesh!!

97 LX450 250K on the clock. Two tough weekends in a row. Last weekend Popped two tires hurrying to a rescue on a virtually abandoned FS road ( do you think 30 mph on rocks with almost worn out tires and not taking time to air down was asking for it? New tires last monday. This week started throwing 171, an 172 codes with intermittent extremely rough idle. Read the threads, studied the FSM and dove in to it today. It would come to power on the road and feel fine then drag and the O2s would peg at .89 volts, then would drop to zero. Did the same thing on Both CNG and on Gasoline, so I knew it wasnt fuel pressure etc. checked throttle position sensor, O2s, per FSM. Switched Mass Air from my 97 LC , Terrified it might be in my harness by the EGR. Just when I was going to give up for the night I started it up one more time to read the OBDII values and the red light above the instrument panel volt meter started to flicker. Got it! Looked inside the terminal block for he fuseable link and there it was. broken wire at the crimp on the connecter that was touching/connecting randomly. Had a new link and block on the shelf.... problem fixed. Tie rod ends and front alignment tomorrow. Wife is having a hard time understanding the grin on my face when I came in.

Thanks to California's gas prices i put 80 dollars of gas in the cruiser. 13.6mpg isn't terrible I guess.
13.6 is good by me.
