For those who aren't in Arizona, that appears to be Gridwall, or at least that is what some others have used. I know I can get it locally in Portland at a couple retail suppliers for reasonable prices. (2'x4' in black, white, or chrome for $17 as of today.) Sometimes it is on CL for cheaper.

Phil - what size do you use for these? I assume just the 2'x4' size, but I haven't measured, and my estimate might be off. I know you can get them in 2x4, x5, x6, x7 and x8 sizes. Do you need to trim them down?

I used 2'x4' for the attic and have a few of the other sizes.

Replaced the valve cover gasket, plugs and plug wires along with a new throttle body gasket. Tomorrow I'm installing a catch can and replacing the front pinion seal.

I plugged my flare fastener holes.

I took a step drill bit and drilled out the four small rivet holes on each side to 5/16ths. The other eleven holes on each side were drilled out to 9/16ths. I bought nylon hole plugs from Home Depot, painted and clear-coated them, and inserted them into the holes.

FYI - Dupli-Color Scratch Fix 2in1, NG GM 528 Fine Silver is a pretty close match to the Desert Dune Pearl (1A5). Dupli-Color Scratch Fix 2in1, NG FM 360 Dark Shadow Gray Met. is a little darker than the Moonglow Pearl (1A6), but you have to be up close, and really looking, to notice it.

Qball -Yea, after I got my Pioneer speakers installed I needed the new head unit. I got the Alpine INE-W940 off ebay for under $400 each, Best Buy carries them for $699. Here is a link: http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ine-w940/

I am waiting for it to arrive and install. Everything about it seems great, I like it over the Pioneer and Kenwood options.

Nice! But my 80 is only driven 2 times a week so I think I'm going the cheap route, pioneer has a simple Unit for 90 bucks that has HD radio. My wife already think I am nuts spending time and money on the "clunker". Hahaha

Explored tinkham road today

Tinkham is fun for a snow day. There are a few trails that shoot off from the main road that I haven't explored yet, and they seem to get less snow under the bigger trees- more passable in the depths of winter.

I'm bummed we haven't hardly had any snow this year- it's a big part of why I moved up to the mountains lol.

Went to the beautiful mountains in Puerto Rico and spent some time with good friends! BTW, temperature 70-75 degrees! Sorry for you guys in the cold!
