Explored some more N.E. Georgia forest service roads.

Here are some photos (taken by John Harvey).

Pics - I think so; it's either Dick's Creek, or FSR #163. And, according to NFS Motor Vehicle Use Map, Dick's Creek (FSR #164) is open all year.

I like the dual post on thar battery. I have that on my second battery and it really helps keeping clean wiring

Installed a Roof top tent. It's the tepui kukenam in the Siberian camo flavor.

Yupper.. I run 100% synthetic and a dual filtration system from AMSOIL. Check out post# 58 for pictures of the setup. Rated for 12month 25K miles

Ok, cool, that makes sense then. Was wondering if there was something special other than light mileage. :bounce:

I picked my rig up from DC Fabrication with freshly designed front and rear bumpers for all to purchase!

Do you care to share the prices on those bumpers?

Pat

Yeah of course! He does amazing work, and I hope this really boosts his business!
Front was $1050 installed. (Not sure if he will change up the pricing, but I would think a fab'd and powdered one that gets shipped would be a bit cheaper, or maybe he will work out shipping and include that. (I still need to bump the "DC fabrication" thread...
Rear has every option: main base, dual swings, tire carrier with hilift mount, ladder, w/Rubicon rack. Pretty sure the price comes out to $2290. Eek!! Powdered hammertone gloss black.
Its nice chit fellas..!!

Omg, it is huge!(that's what she said)

Which battery is that? Group 64?

I think it's a 34 IIRC. I will say that i have been VERY impressed with it so far. I've been on four pretty long trips with it, once with the fridge running for 3 days while camped and it started up just fine. Next fridge ran for 4 days in the summer, at the beach with 90 degree days and the truck started right up... but this time i could tell the battery was not up to full charge. Next two times were approximate 2-3 day parked with the fridge running, stereo on, laptop charged, cell phone charged and the battery still started the truck.

Next project will be a solar panel to keep it topped off during those times.
