Had a vacuum leak/oil leak from a spark plug seal, so I pulled the throttle body and valve cover. Replaced the seals and VC gasket and cleaned the throttle body. Pretty straightforward job, took about 5 hours, and seems to have gone off perfectly - other than spending a half hour searching for a socket that fell down behind the engine.

Installed an aux. fuse box in the cab, then installed my CB. My first time wiring something that didn't come in a "kit." Everything worked fine until i drove it around and the idle was low. :bang: Was going to start undoing what I did, but searched Mud first and found out that's normal after disconecting the battery. A few little trips and everything is back to normal. I love this site...

Desperate for Wheelin'

I live in West Michigan which has just about NO places to offroad. When I see a dirt hill I take advantage of it. This hill is behind a local grocery store at the back of their parking lot and the only 10 tracks up this hill in the past year are from my kids and I when we run to the store. This was on the way to daycare this morning...I just HAD to buy granola bars for the boys...good opportunity to snap a really grainy picture with my ancient cell phone...sorry for the image quality.

Finally have some gauges! I have the Android Torque app for OBDII monitoring but I like having gauges ready to go anytime vs having to plug in the OBDII adapter, turn on my phone, open the app, wait for it to connect, etc etc.

I love the way it turned out! Parts I used:

- Autometer dual gauge pod for 94-01 Acura Integra (#20110)
- Rustoleum 'Cobblestone' spray paint to match the tan interior
- GlowShift MaxTow digital/analog water temp gauge
- GlowShift 40mm water temp sensor adapter
- GlowShift 7-color transmission temp gauge

I've yet to hook up the transmission temp sensor, hence it's 300 degrees reading :) I'll be adding a brass tee in the rubber line going into the transmission oil cooler. I twisted the head off the temp sensor so I had to order a new one. DOH!

nicely done, this is my gauges wishlist (ie coolant and ATF temperature)

Ordered a new antenna mast/cable and fixed. Took forever with distractions here and there.

Power brake booster replacement on my 93.

Finally got my roof rack painted and reinstalled. Awning is back in place, but I need to track down a tall friend to get the rtt back on. Not an easy thing to do around here when there is a futbawl game on.

Sent usin the "new" app.

Nothing so far. My volkswagen has been demanding attention since before i bought the TLC, so i spent the day's wrenching time attending to the GTI.

But i did put together the wiring harness to install a double-din navigation HU in the TLC tonight. Maybe tomorrow i will install the new HU and the landtank seat rail extensions.

Oh, but i did order cap & rotor at the local toyota dealer and ordered an NGK wire set from Amazon. Those will all be here Tuesday, before i hand it over to EP Auto for them to deal with o2 sensor #2 and get it to pass emissions.

And a pic of the water temp sensor & adapter
Sweet install. I have been planning to install gauges to monitor Trans and Water temps.... These gauge are really nice.

I plan to use this adapter for the trans cooler lines

HTH

When you say "lake"....

Huntington Lake is about 50 feet below normal for this time of year. We drove down a private boat ramp onto the "beach".

Despite being sick most of the week I rallied today and in addition to 4 hours at an extended-family party, moving my daughter to a new room including disassembly of loft bed, cutting it down 8 inches, and reassembling it; I managed to make some progress on the bumper build.

Took my daughter to Cottonland Cruisers rally in Hot Springs, AR. Good jaunt from Dallas, but good hospitality and wheeling at Superlift ORV park. Lots of 80s, lots of rain.

Spent the whole day on audio/video/nav install. of course, it turns out my NSS is out of whack so the rear view camera isn't gonna work until my reverse lights work.
